No, I do think Lambert is a legend for his achievements here. I just hold Adam in higher regard because he is from the youth ranks, and apart from last season where his form was patchy, I thought he was brilliant in league 1 and in the championship. He was even in the 3 man shortlist for championship player of the year if I remember well (which Lambert eventually won). Both were instrumental in our rise, if Lambert hadn t been there we probably would not have got to the premier league in 3 years, likewise for Adam I just think sometimes he doesn't get the credit he deserves. I love seing his passion for the club.

Seing the recent thread on Lambert and his supposed status as a club legend, I am very surprised that Lallana is not regarded in the manner as Rickie. Adam is an academy product and has been at the club longer than Rickie, stayed at Saints when we were relegated to league 1 when he could have left and I value his contribution just as much as Rickie's in our rise to the premier ligue. He is also captain of the side and the soul of the club, yet some on here question his captaincy. For me, if there ever is a club legend at the moment, it is more Adam than Rickie (I m not taking away any of Rickie s achievements here.) Am I the only one thinking like this?

Goalkeepers: Vincent Enyama of Lille Steve Mandanda of Marseille Stephane Ruffier of Saint Etienne All 3 are excellent goalkeepers and also at the right age. Would give excellent competition to Boruc. Defender: Aymen Abdenour of Toulouse strong central defender that plays on the left hand side. Attacking midfielder: Yohan Gourcuff of Lyon On his day one of the best attacking mid in Ligue 1. Has had a lot of of injury problems, but I m confident that with our medical staff they can sort with out because he really is a class player.

Mandanda of Marseille or Stéphane Ruffier of Saint Etienne would be immense. Ligue 1 has very good keepers and those 2 are understudies to lloris in the french national team.

This is exactly why we need to sign a central defender in January.
