We should get shot of Long this summer. I don’t care if he has a year left or if Danny leaves, the guy is a non entity to our play. I’m not even sure he would do a good job in the Championship either. he is getting on and in one year will probably call it a day on his career. seems like wasted opportunity we had last summer to bring in somebody that we could bed in progressively.

You lot are hillarious, there is no guarentee Hummel will be any different to UA. Late 80s kits were maybe good but materials for football kits have changed since then. Quality also depends on what manufacturer is used, whether it is outsourced etc.. we have no idea on all these topics so I m in the wait and see camp.

That s not my point. What is the difference between a PL club and a L1 club. They all get tested prior to a match so PL bubble or EFL bubble isn t any different.

Agree, everytime we defend a free kick in our box i m pretty sure it will be headed by the opposing player. I get that you want to play the offside but 75% of the time it doesn’t work and the opposition has a chance. It is just a matter of time before we concede from it. Must be a daft idea from Dave Watson. Also since Vestergaard has been out, we don t seem to stand on the edge of the box anymore and run towards the ball for attaking corners. We have been too static on them in the last few games.

No I wouldn’t, when I see that we try our utmost, that is sufficient for me. I prefer to go all out for wins and then lose a few as a result. Had we gone for it in the last 2 games, I reckon we would have got 3 points and not 2 from them. you also got to see the long term outlook giving some minutes to Long as opposed to the younger ones is better for the future.

Long coming on was utterly pointless, a waste of space, we should have released him last summer. Adams stzying on would have still have made more of an impact than Long did. I don’t get why we don’t use a few youngsters off the bench with 20-25 mins to go. It gives them some valuable minutes and we get to rest of few of the key players.
