  1. Other way round. They are off to Vegas this morning
  2. My mate knows Tommy Forecast's brother, and apparently they have gone to Marbella for 5days
  3. If Bolton get relegated on the weekend.....how about Chris Eagles? Previous poster...no chance in getting Hoilett
  4. If it is such a big deal to them then I'm sure they can all get their wallets out and pay for a lads holiday themselves. It's not like the overpaid bunch don't have enough money to go if they really want to.
  5. Dean isn't going anywhere. I believe it is Chaplow who they want as part of that deal.
  6. Thought Rickie would clear up at the awards. The result clearly shows he isn't popular amongst the squad. Potential departure this summer?

Pedro....it's always busy when you get there because you only turn up for big games. "Part time fan".
  8. I'm chuffed for Corky that he has got his passport sorted! He's been worried all week, but can celebrate properly with the rest of the lads now!
  9. 2-2
  10. Guly's contribution this year has been HUGE in terms of goals and assists. Yes he isn't in the best of form at the moment in time but he may still have a pivotal role to play on Saturday. We need our fans to support the team on Saturday, and not get on Guly's case like idiots. Nigel knows best and will play him if he thinks it suits our game plan.
  11. Corky is going to put a season of miserable shots behind him and score a 30 yard screamer. He scored in one of the first pre-season games, so surely its written for him to score in the last!
  12. If Saints cannot beat an already relegated Coventry side on the final day of a season to win promotion to the Premierleague then I'm sorry but we don't deserve it. Every single player will be right up for this game in front of a packed stadium. Hopefully Cov will be focused on their summer holidays not wanting to go away to wherever with a broken leg. A few youngsters for them will be ideal. We will win and we will be promoted come Saturday evening. You lot are just miserable
  13. Emnes.....oh god no, he's an average Championship player
  14. One or two more fouls and Dean would have given him a second yellow. Yes he was getting into some great positions, but its a shame he doesn't do anything with it. He hasn't been himself since coming back from injury. I thought De Ridder looked bright when he came on. Fonte played poorly and I have been saying for weeks that if we go up then we need somebody to partner Jos at the back. Just can't see Fonte cutting it (if we make it). Thought we played well, Reading always looked dangerous on the break and fair play to them. Three shots is all you need if you score them all. We lack that cutting edge other than Lambert, who I thought was superb. Le Fondre is a fantastic little player and best of luck to them, they will win the league now. Pick ourselves up now and play like that against both Boro's and get four points minimum, we will be fine. In the mean time, lets home Brighton can knick something tomorrow!
  15. Had a nightmare there https://twitter.com/#!/johnnygribbin/status/189427068449202177/photo/1
  16. Just back. Palace rarely threatened and when they did, a couple of excellent pieces of defending from Fonte and Harding thwarted them. Cork was fabulous and it was nice to see Chaplow getting back into the rhythm. Support was fantastic, great day out. People need to give Guly a break...people were having a go at him for missing a header after Fonte should have scored when it was incredibly difficult to generate any power into the header. We would not be where we are today without Guly's goals and assists. Yes his performances may have dropped in standard as of late and his general body language can give the impression that he isn't fussed, but I think that is just a South American thing you sometimes get. He is the type of player that can create something out of nothing, so lay off him and get a grip. Here is a picture someone took from the Palace end of our support today.
  17. The linesman had a shocker on two of the calls yesterday where he was on side. I remember Lee and Guly being offside ALOT in certain home games. Lay off Billy. He's going to score a few more crucial goals this season to prove you haters wrong. Fickle fans
  18. Solent tweet saying Lambert misses out through Groin injury
  19. I don't think we will do it. Think we will lose today and draw against Pompey. We have some tough away games left. I can see WHU winning today and going on a run.
  20. Guy I spoke to asked for quite a few details about each customer number I gave. Seems like online is the best way for non STH if you have one STH's number. Fancy these to sell out before general sale.
  21. Does anyone know if it is strictly one per STH at the moment?
  22. Yeah, I mean look at all the game time he has had. You are basing that on times where he has come on with games won, e.g Barnsley, and Lambert wasn't even on the pitch, so that is a ridiculous statement. And as for nowhere near Prem quality...I think a lot would have said that about Morison going from Millwall to Norwich yet he has been good in the Prem this season. Give him time for goodness sake
  23. First of all, since Sharp has come in, we have generally been winning games, so he has found it hard to get a decent amount of game time. He had a chance at WHU and didn't take it, then Lee came in and impressed. Why change a winning side? Secondly, to have a chance at promotion, you need a good squad as has been pointed out numerous times, and there is always that chance that one or two of our attackers could pick up injuries, so you need quality in back-up which we have. I think it has been hard for him as he has come on when we have had the games won, and hasn't really had any clear cut chances bar WHU. Give him time, his chance will come and he will take it. He is a good player
  24. Still think we will blow it. A loss tonight, followed by tough away games at Blackpool, Peterborough and Boro. Honestly struggling to see us pick up another win on the road other than at Palace. I would love for that to not be the case but have a strange feeling.
  25. Thought we were lazy in the first half. Couldn't get a hold of the ball properly and get our passing game going. Barnsley started very well and deserved to be the side going in 1up at half time, fortunately for us Lallana popped up. Second half was a lot better. Got our foot on the ball and knocked it around well in the midfield. Cork was good when he came on, with him and Morgan not really giving Barnsley a sniff. Wasn't surprised to see Lambert go off. Wasn't his best game and Connolly played well when he came on. A nice three points in the end. Two huge away games coming up. Still think we are fighting Reading for this second spot and I am still very worried.
