For me we should maintain this average in our next 6 games Oldham (A) = Draw MK Dons (H)= Win Orient (A)= Win Brighton (H)= Win Norwich (H)= Draw/Potential Loss Hartlepool (A) = Draw So thats 11/12 points in my opinion

I said on another thread that we need 25 wins from 35 games to reach the number of points that 6th place got last season. Its now 24 from 34 after last night. I think it is just too much this season and I will be very satisfied with a top 10 finish especially after having the 10point penalty. Next season is the season.

Anyone see the forwards taking shots at Bart before the game? Just showed how quality Lambert is and boy Saganowski's shots were appauling! He's really struggling at the moment.

Nothing to do with the result, but I was certain I saw Paul Trollope on the train from Stratford to Prittlewell last night. Looked at Southend's fixtures when I got the programme and saw they are playing Bristol Rovers next so it must of been him. Wish I had said something now. Also to add, a Southend fan came up to me before the game and said we were the best fans he has seen away from home when they came to St Mary's in 2006 when it was the Alan Ball tribute. They seem a nice club up there. Fair play to them

If we want to win this trophy then we will have to beat Charlton at some stage. Perhaps they won't play a full strength team, as they would rather get automatic promotion than win this. Will be interesting to see.

Papa had a good game tonight, best I have seen him play. Mention to the young Reading lad on loan...when he came on he looked a handful and his pace caused their left back alot of trouble 2 or 3 times. Just what we needed, a bit of pace on the wings.

Yes I know but Oldsarum said Charlton were given 3000 earlier this season. It's relatively close so I would expect us to take alot up.

Pearson & Pardew are both good managers. You can't compare their stats as it is two very different situation. Pearson had some very decent Championship players in his squad whereas Pardew has had to start from scratch.

Avoid Charlton & Norwich. Let them play each other and we meet them in the Area Final
