As mentioned on other threads, I think it was Nickh that worked out we need to average 2 points a game in order to reach the number of points 6th place got last season. Therefore we only need to draw our away game and win the home games. Obviously we will get ahead of this average as the winning run continues. We have a very very good chance of the playoffs, however it will come down to what happens in January, i.e Trottman and other players

Equal between Lambert & Hammond in my opinion. Lambert has brought that presence up front and a genuine danger with strength and alot of goals in him. However Hammond is a beaver in midfield. He has everything in him that you would look for in a CM. Both very impressive players for me, and hopefully will be here for a long time to come.

I do believe the quality is still there in him. If he can be motivated enough to get fitter and sharper then I think he is an ideal partner for Lambert, but the one big problem is that he doesn't seem motivated. I really rated him when he was banging in the goals but it is all in his hands. He either bucks up his ideas to impress AP or is out of the club. P.S Anyone at Southend see his shots in the warm up? Think I could do better to be honest
