Looking at the placing of the segregation netting in the Northam, there are some seats there that are unsold. I'm sure in the past the netting used to come all the way up to the end of the block? Could be wrong though.

Saints were shocking in the first half. Second to every ball, with Villa running the midfield. Targett is useless, yes he made a few good blocks but he offers nothing going forward. He is never interested in looking for the overlap, although it wasn't helped by Juanmi being terrible too. Gaston offered very little, although improved in the first 15 minutes of the second half. Didn't think Wanyama was that bad, thought he was neat on the ball, as well as JWP. Overall, Saints lacked any energy going forward in the first half, but slightly improved in the second half which was just enough to get past a poor Villa side. Players who aren't good enough at the moment are Targett, Juanmi & Ramirez. We need better backups than these if we are looking for improved squad depth.

Struggling to see what Clasie brings to this team. All he does is pass it sideways or hoof it.
-
I think Virgil has a more complete game than Svensson. Don't get me wrong, Killer was an exceptional defender but I think Virgil offers a lot more on the ball, going forward, aswell as being able to defend well.

The best centre half we have had in the last 15 years. He is a class above everyone else.
-
Probably the best looking player in the Premier League. That hair cut.....
-
Anyone else really struggling to see the players? The kit just blends into the pitch. I'm surprised it's legal.
-
Just not creating anything. Everything seems to be hoofing it up to Pelle or long floating crosses. Haven't seen create so little in a single game in years. Fonte was superb, and the defence looked marginally better than last week, despite deserving to concede when they missed an open goal. Thought everyone else except Fonte were just average today and very sloppy with the ball. Hopefully when Clasie comes back we will have a bit more creativity, along with Bertrand down the left side.
-
I'd rather play Yoshida at left back than that useless teenager Targett who bottles challenges. It's a case of Yoshida being less bad with Fonte & Caulker in the middle. Start Romeu and I think we could grind out a 2-0 win.
-
But can he do it on a cold rainy night in Stoke
-
First of all, Targett is shocking. He bottled challenges and simply doesn't have the physique for the Premier League. Need to get Bertrand back asap. Yoshida also is not good enough to start in this team and we need to bring in a new centre half urgently if we want to stop conceding. Cedric is still adapting to the prem but looks bright, and Fonte didn't do too much wrong today. Today the amount of space Everton had was scary and it's the worst I've seen us play in years. I can easily see this side finishing 13/14th this season and we will be lucky to get through this Europa tie if we play like today and last week. The defence is simply not good enough and going forward the final ball is astrocious with no penetration or danger. Only positives today were Mane and Pelle and perhaps the new fella in centre mid. 37 quid to watch that ?!

For those of you moaning you can't see the players properly, don't bother turning up to the away games in that case and leave the tickets for those of us who have proper vision. Thanks

Pretty sure he will leave to Sporting Lisbon either next summer or the following summer. He has said in past interviews that he would like a few seasons in Lisbon before he hangs up his boots.

Signed for Spurs. Confirmed on their Twitter feed.
-
Surely the player has a say, especially these days. He could reject Spurs and tell Atletico that he wants to come here.
-
Another absolute shambles by us. To not sign Toby is unbelievable especially when the player wanted to stay. Perhaps we couldn't match his wages? Don't trust his hamstring? Seems unlikely, but there has to be a huge reason why we haven't been able to secure this one.

Austin at home to Swindon Le Fondre at home to Reading But of course Norris one has to be the worst. Never felt so horrific.
-
Just for the record, I posted that Clyne was leaving back on 22nd January.
-
Can confirm from a reliable source that a certain Mr Adam Lallana is in Lyndhurst tonight at Meridien Modena of anyone wants to pop down for a chat. Same source as the Clyne information posted before.
-
Soares is better than Clyne. Use the money to get Toby and we have had a result. Clyne barely set the world alight in the second half of the season.

Post-Match Reaction: Leicester City 2-0 SAINTS
Genk replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
We just don't carry a threat any more. I think we are really lacking any creativity which is something you wouldn't associate with us in recent years. We just seem a tad boring really! Need to sign a couple of creative players in the summer. I'm not 100% convinced about Tadic and I certainly don't believe Elia is what we need for what we want to achieve regarding Europa League football. Shame this season has tailed off really. Onwards and upwards to next season! -
Correction, today.

Corky and Adz used to be besties, and my mate told me Adz and Rickie used to play FIFA together all the time. I miss them
-
My mate works with the wife of Forster's neighbour, and he had surgery yesterday and is expected to be out for a year. Huge blow.

If we are talking about Trippier, may as well through Danny Simpson into the ring, crikey.
