Building a squad for the Championship here....and Prutton is never a Championship player.

Don't really rate him in all honesty. Didn't do much against us in the two games this season and I would much prefer a Neil Danns although unlikely. Somebody else please.

Can't see Austin hanging around at Swindon. Newcastle were sniffing around a couple of months ago and now apparently Stoke are interested. He isn't Premiership class yet but it looks like a few teams are willing to gamble and sign him. Also remember quite a few of the Swindon team were made up of loanee's this year, so no guarantee they will be there next season. Wouldn't be surprised if a Championship side poached Wilson when a vacancy comes available as he's done a great job there and is a quality manager. IMO, Swindon will be a mid table next season.

Hope this isn't true. Can see us losing Lambert & Lallana if AP goes. Won't be happy at all if he is sacked.

West Ham look like they will stay up, so your saying those four are Premiership players. Lallana & Schneiderlin maybe have the potential but no way is Lambert a Prem striker and Hammond is barely good enough for the Championship. Pardew will not be going back to West Ham,

For me it was a stupid question by the reporter, in order to 'go for it' and bring on another attacker James was probably the only one on the pitch to take off. It's irrelevant that he came on for 20minutes and that was only because Wotton was shockingly poor. Every other player on the pitch either had pace, could finish, had aerial ability and unfortunately for Lloyd he had to go off.

I find it laughable that people question a professional managers tactics. Its easy in hind sight to question what decisions a manager made, but at the end of the day he knows a hell of a lot more about the game of football than us all posting on this forum. Ofcourse managers are going to get it wrong from time to time, but AP hasn't achieved what he's achieved in football through poor tactics. Nobody wants Pardew out but I suspect people are just frustrated after last night's result. I am afraid that he may walk though, praying he doesn't as I believe he really can take us all the way.

I agree, at the moment we may have a very good starting 11 in this league but we need two or three further additions in the midfield area of good quality in order to win games such as last night. It was evident we were missing Schneiderlin and I can see AP bringing in a few more players in the summer to sure up the squad. At the back I feel we have adequate resources, aswell as upfront but the midfield area of the squad is weak, especially in the centre.

Can't see us losing any of our players over the summer, unlike others on here who fear we will. Can see us signing two or three good Championship players and I think we will finish top two quite easily. Can't wait already.

Surely you just want to look at points dropped after a cup game. How does the game before matter?

Perhaps Lloyd James can come into CM and do a job. It is his preferred position.

Not happening either. He would be testing himself more in League 1 than SPL. Scottish football is a joke. Plus since when did RL live in Glasgow.

Scottish football is a joke and some of the teams in the SPL would get a good hiding from us. Pardew won't go there, he would know that if he didn't win the league next season with them he would be facing the sack. Plus why would he want to go and live up there, not going to happen.

Like others have mentioned, he has the talent but isn't consistent enough which is why he is playing at this level. I quite like him and he is a genuine threat for 90minutes which is great to have on the pitch. Just like other players, occasionally he doesn't turn up but he has been a good signing so far and i expect him to continue to improve into next season.
