Obviously they were great times for the club. But all those photos above are from the Cortese era. The era in which we gradually turned ourselves into a successful brand with Cortese guidance. He, like myself believes the stripeless kits and mono-colour bagge enhance our brand image and symbolises our recent success. I think it's time to embrace change, as we look to push on even further as a club.

I'm not old enough to remember any good times of us in red and white stripes. We had years of struggling to survive and battling for relegation, so for me personally a change from the stripes shows us a new stronger us. The best years I remember we were in a sash or an all red kit.

Been a fan for over 25 years and I can honestly say that I genuinely prefer us playing in all red than stripes. Not against red and white but would prefer more of an Ajax/Air Florida style kit. The mono-colour badge looks more professional and we look like more of a professional brand than a small tinpot team. We need to mix our new modern approach with out history, but that doesn't necessarily mean stripes.

Fingers crossed. Will be a good deal for all parties.

Undoubtedly preferred the monotone silver badge to be honest, the coloured one is rather garish. Likewise with the kit, really hope we don't go back to stripes. Would settle for an Air Florida style one though.

Let's not go back to stripes. For me, stripes remind me of the years of struggling and battling relegation and I don't like being so similar Stoke and Sunderland. We're in a new era, let's not go back. The Air Florida style would be great mind.

Havn't been this annoyed with a performance in a very long time. Wasted a massive opportunity and for what? Had nothing to lose by fielding a full strength team. Compete an utter disgrace. Let the fans down big time.

Would be gutted if we went back to an own brand kit. Think the Adidas kits are much better quality and look much nicer. Own brand kits are for small clubs and that doesn't fit with our mentality.

Neutral stand has been sold out for over a week. Theres a few tickets left in the stand behind the goal directly opposite the away fans. That's where I'm regrettably sitting.

Agreed! The banner looks rather dated now. Let's be proud of what we've become and show off some of our newer heroes.
