But what about the joy of getting asked to comment after someone has done a shocking job! No holds barred, gloves off, 0 out of 10 on all questions, great therapy. 😊
-
After reading it he now seems as upset as anyone, poor guy - not quite upset enough to apologise but he's clearly now a victim. He used to be an obnoxious cnut, and this latest episode suggests that not much has changed.
-
He was invited to the Palace because we have a free press? It's not a great look.
-
How can the UK allow a deranged elderly sex pest to write articles of racist hatred and abuse in The Sun to satisfy his dark army of wanking gammony freaks, but still get invited to the Palace?
-
Run it off mate, old school.

Poland missed a trick. I'd have paid good money to watch Bednarek mark Messi, it could have been a very different game...

No permanent change was demanded, FIFA negotiated aspects of this world cup with Qatar and agreements were reached. Several of those agreements have been ripped up at the last minute. It's not too complex.
-
Did FIFA lost control of their own tournament when they sold it to Qatar? The hosts appear to have gone rogue and are now doing whatever they want - from beer sales to keeping fans outside or banning entry for a hat. And it's not about the laws of the country, these things were all discussed, negotiated and agreed in advance, but Qatar are now ripping up those agreements and making up new rules every day. As an advert for what a wonderful place it is and how everyone's welcome, it's been a total clusterfuck. So the sooner their awful team is battered for a third time and relegated back into the shadows of world football, the better.

What is the best goal you've ever seen live at a Saints game?
rallyboy replied to tunit's topic in The Saints
It's the goal where Matt did something absolutely incredible and inspirational, then turned to the crowd with his finger to his lips and never spoke in public again. -
One of the distraction arguments from Leavers is that if you are against Brexit you must hate the UK and that you love Europe. I don't give a fuck about Germany or France, I've always wanted what would be best for us, and economic self-harm is clearly not good for the UK. The Johnson approach of being as rude and obnoxious to the EU to look manly in front of the Tunbridge Wells association, also fell apart when he had to negotiate with those he'd abused. A sensible yet ruthless approach would have been, polite and pleasant, then shaft them with a deal that suits us - ditto the US where Boris got in bed with Trump and left us out in the cold. So it's all now starting to emerge as a crass unworkable idea on every level, organised by idiots to benefit the wealthy, at our request - so they can blame the voters. And fair play to any Leave voters who now admit they were conned by the ridiculous claims of former-Remainer Johnson and the other divisive chancers - we've all been taken for a ride by people who made money from the whole shambles, and continue to do so. Just because you lost! No mate, we all lost.

It was played locally and it was against Derby, that makes it a point in a local derby match. Fire up the bus, unfurl the bunting - it's time for a victory parade!
-
Unlucky. Though I suspect a couple of your fans will be along shortly to highlight the irony of you being positive...

Nice to see a Saints shirt in the crowd on TV. Even nicer that it was my son and grandson - who had one of the best days ever!

Do you want Nathan Jones to Manage Southampton Football Club?
rallyboy replied to Rivers's topic in The Saints
I wasn't impressed with the way he sat and watched last night, and the manner in which he held up the shirt for the photos suggests this job is too big for him. I'm seething inside and shall be down to St Mary's without delay, to try in vain to rip up my season ticket. I may borrow some scissors from reception. -
Herts police totally lost the plot and have no excuse that will explain away the plan they put into action at the M25. A civilised country that claims freedom of speech, needs to have a free press. The UK should be better than this.

Call me old fashioned but I think I'll let the new manager do some actual managing before making a judgement. As for Redmond, if anything sums up the spirit of the appalling display years that eventually cost Ralph his job, Redmond's poor efforts, along with others, played a significant role in our decline. He should zip it - as should any players who have let down the club, the manager and themselves. Do your talking on the pitch.
-
I bet he doesn't put any of our players in his so called Team of the Week again. It's disgraceful! 😡

Sue Ellen failed to address most points and made up shit to cover others. It was a very unpleasant speech, clearly aimed at harvesting the support of easily-led racists who need someone to blame for everything. She's a dangerous and incompetent woman using the type of hate that her parents had to endure, to forward her career. They must be ashamed, along with most residents of Fareham.

A Saints fan in Number Ten - Rishi Sunak and the red and white revolution
rallyboy replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
Penny actually mouthed Pay up Pompey - the treasury clearly hasn't given up on the £35million of unpaid taxes. -
Boris had the most corrupt cabinet in history, Truss had the least-talented, Rishi has raided both and scraped the barrels to create some sort of dark reunion of losers. Take Williamson - his CV reads like a fucking insurance claim - he and Braverman are fighting over the title of head clown in a sorry circus of failure. We're up Shit Creek, without a canoe.
-
Sunak's fresh approach using the best talent lasted ten fucking minutes. Oliver Dowden? Braverman, Zahawi?? That's like a new manager coming in, starting with Walcott and trying to re-sign Shane Long. We only need Chris Grayling and we're right back in the dark ages. Employing the same old divisive figures who defended Partygate etc etc, and who have already failed in two/three cabinets is no way to satisfy the electorate, or to solve problems.

rallyboy replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
Genuine question, has anyone ever actually seen Sunak at St Mary's? I've seen three local MPs at games over the years. I'm sure he won't turn into one of those Cameron sorts who can't remember his football script written to appeal to several demographics, but is he really a fan, or just a bloke who comes from the city?
