But the UK has chosen the only path that gains votes - a faux patriotic war against a made-up enemy, and catastrophic human rights decisions that will leave us standing proud in a dark corner with Russia and Belarus. I thought better of Rishi, not much, but I did believe he had a shred of integrity when he came in. He hasn't.

I have no issue with the VAR decisions, or the fact that we were dismal for most of that, I was however surprised to see a penalty given for a mild retaliatory slap, when Djenepo had already been elbowed in the face to stop him but that wasn't a foul. I was also surprised to discover the off-the-ball shoulder-charge into KWP's head, missed by VAR, wasn't a foul or a card, nor was the two-man tackle from behind with added shirt-pull on Djenepo in the second half.
