Yeah, you and I knew it, anyone sensible did, but thousands of people out there and a couple of fanboys on here have been telling us what a great job the Government has been doing, and how they would love their beloved Boris back because he's such a top bloke. This is news to them.
-
They're all being exposed now for what most people realised that they are - a bunch of lying incompetent and corrupt idiots who took the country for a fucking ride and left old people to die while they partied. It must be a shock to those who have been stubbornly telling us for the last few years that Boris and the worst cabinet in history played a blinder. He was an appalling PM and is still an appalling human being, and anyone who supported him must feel like they were conned. Mainly because they were.

Thanks for the applications - as one or two appear to be considerably overqualified, we now have a very strong shortlist. 👍 .

Thankfully I've seen no one one here supporting the attack by Hamas, they are terrorists and should be wiped off the fucking earth, there is no debate. But murdering hundreds of innocent kids every day as revenge? Because these rocket attacks on civilians, and let's not pretend otherwise, the numbers of civilian casualties break all international records of recent years, these attacks just create the next generation of hate and manage to make a horrendous situation even fucking worse. Understandably, Israel wants revenge on Hamas and they want their people back, but look at the news footage, this isn't the revenge on Hamas that everyone wants, it's not helping to free hostages, it's just the slaughter of innocent civilians - only a total cunt would defend it. If you think this role suits you, apply below.

If we did manage to drag ourselves up through the playoffs, while it would be fantastic, we are no longer the plucky established Premier League club defying the odds, we are now the next Burnley, Luton or Sheffield United in waiting, and I'm not sure those guys are enjoying the bigboy experience. As a business we need to be at the top table, but from an enjoyment point of view, we're actually winning some football matches and it's fun.

The ref and lino had a little run of giving throws the wrong way, then they could well have had a penalty, may not have been, there was a possible offside goal, very tight, and they may or may not have got away with a couple of potential red card challenges, one that led directly to their goal - opinions. But what we can all agree on is that Rooney looks twenty years older than Pahars.
-
I feel lucky - finally we will enjoy a proper comfortable home win, and we all get soaked on the way out, but no one cares.

You can't say that he sinned, that's sin-shaming, and it might make him feel bad about himself. Can I say himself? Itself.
-
Just to highlight one modest bit of improvement, you imagine what could have been achieved last season had we actually gone after a few last minute goals rather than pottering about in our own half until the final whistle went.

"Younger readers may not be so aware, but Portsmouth used to be somewhat of a Premier League giant" Never before in the history of language has the word somewhat performed this amount of heavy lifting.

Difficult to criticise the Met, their judgement is normally spot on in these situations, especially since they suspended their recruitment drive in the rapist community. Perhaps they had trouble spotting the dozen nutters in every 10,000 peace protesters. Luckily our Home Sec was on hand to highlight any hate crimes, her specialist area.

Me too. It's been established now that you get at least thirteen years leeway to blame the previous government, and if you can distract people by jailing members of the worst-qualified and most corrupt cabinet in British history, that would probably buy some goodwill as well. Other than that, they'll need to hit the ground running and try something new, like appointing ministers who aren't on the take, and perhaps some who have an IQ over 40. Either way, I'm pretty sure all those soppy woke lefties that I too worry about at night, will be screaming just as loud at a new government if it doesn't improve hospitals, the police, education, GPs, the courts, mental health services, support for the disabled, border control, prisons, transport and all the other areas that are currently a total shitshow. In fact, it might be that these leftie demons, the Wokerati, the sandal-wearing, tofu set from Islington who walk among us, aren't lefties at all. They could be just ordinary people who would like a country to be proud of with services that work, and were abandoned in the middle ground when the racists, the corrupt and the lunatics lurched so far up the right wing they're now in Row KK?

So that'll be two pointless conflicts where neither side will let it go and the rest of us can only look on with dismay...

No. Palestine are always in an away game at Old Trafford - different rules apply in their box.

It's been alleged for years that the Israeli government's communications team makes daily calls to dozens of media outlets complaining about coverage of their actions and trying to pressure journalists. This aggressive PR campaign is backed up by the amount of money they also invest in Westminster. It's the equivalent of a struggling football club complaining because they don't like papers publishing the results and the league table.
-
Any of the many MPs who have been 'lobbied' by Israeli donations for the past decade. It's been a very common theme for years, criticise the actions of the Israel military, await the predictable and lazy accusation.
-
So would I, fucking right I would - but I'd want action to be taken against the people who did it.
-
Did he offer any detail on when he will actually make it onto a pitch?
-
Why are you making up shit? And I think you'll find that peace is normally considered a positive outcome so you might want to rethink the way you slag off strangers, because like a lot of your typing and grammar, that insult didn't really make sense. Anyway, good luck with everything. 🙂👍

While Andrew Neil has lost all credibility as a serious figure in the past decade I would have thought that even he was still capable of grasping the difference between Palestine and Hamas. But in reality he's just reinvented himself as a controversial pundit who can spoonfeed shit to thick people, all for his own personal gain...

If I may offer an alternative theory me old mucker, I think the debate was probably going well until people offering balanced views were labelled as cunts for no reason at all. Normal people switch off at that point, rather than getting dragged into childish spats with shouty dullards, who despite proclaiming themselves as experts in every field of human endeavour, appear to struggle mastering basic tasks like operating a keyboard... Calling everyone cunts just destroys the debate - and eventually, the forum.
-
I'm not sure why some people come on here all angry and looking for an argument all the time. Well, I do know actually because I'm a smug intellectual, but I'm just being polite and battering them with the shock and awe of kindness and respect. 🙂

As I said, no sensible person would throw their full support behind either side in a conflict where both parties are happy to commit war crimes. To do that you'd have to be attention-seeking, a little bit simple, or wearing blinkers.
-
The first casualty of war is truth - it's currently about propaganda, both sides claiming to be victims of atrocities so appalling that the most extreme response can be justified. The UK needs to keep out of this.
