Personally, I feel that aside from him bottling out of a few challenges each game, he brings some great overlapping play down the right. With Murty looking ever more likely to retire at the end of the season, I think we should sign Semi up for an extra year then spend the rest of Summer seeing if we can find someone else. If nothing else, Semi would make a great player to have as backup.

I put £5 on Saints winning the thing just before the Norwhich game, got quite good odds on it so I'll probably just put a fiver on the first scorer.

I remember seeing Tim Sparv captain Finland U-21s against England in the recent-ish U21 Football Championship. He scored a penalty and has made 8 appearances for the Finnish first team. He signed for FC Gronigen in January who are currently in the Europa League Play-off places. So I'd say he hasn't completely failed

I'm surprised to see I'm not the only one that is expecting a magical goal from Spiderman in the JPT Final ... it will be a curving beauty destined for the top corner from a mile out. That or Pulis will come on and score a wonderful solo effort taking on all 11 men a few times before smashing it past their keeper?

Agree with most of the above, except for the team names. Sitting in the Chapel, I sometimes have to look up to the screen when there is crosses in as you can never tell how close to the goal they are going. Although I wouldn't mind seeing a return of the squad pictures being shown when the teams are read out before the game.

They are all either crap songs or (in the case of One Vision) not closely enough related to Saints. I would rather have a brass band play "Oh When The Saints" slowly so we can sing along in a heart-wrenching moment similar to that of "You'll Never Walk Alone" Seeing as that wasn't an option, I went for One Vision as a Queen fan but for the record ... NOBODY VOTE FOR THAT AWFUL TECHNO REMIX!

Frustrating game with both the referee's stupid decisions and Beckford's ridiculous dives being amongst the most annoying moments of the game but at least we got the win. Jaidi was an absolute rock in the defence, won absolutely every header with ease, we really do have one of the best defences this side of the Premier League. Also interesting to see that our attendance of 30,000 not only beat every other match in League One, but also the Championship AND every Premier League game except for Chelsea and Spurs!

Think this game could turn out to be a real highlight of the season in terms of the quality of football we will see played. Leeds are desperate not to get caught up in the play-offs again and we will be looking to show the rest of the league the damage we can do. I'll predict a VERY tight 2-1 to the mighty reds! COYR!! We are absolutely perfect with our attacking set pieces with Lambert looking like scoring from every free kick but we really need to sort out how we defend free kicks :mad: Oh well, I'm still sure we will win 3-1 ... COYR!

I'm glad to see Paterson doing so well at Southend. I have a friend who is a season ticket holder at Roots Hall who says the fans there have warmed to him well. A consolation goal against MK Dons last week and he's followed it up with a goal against Charlton tonight.
