Oascar Gobern's older brother Lewis was released when the moved up to the Premiership, not sure if he's been snapped up already. Anyone know if he's any good?

Good luck to him in whatever he chooses to do with his life. I respect the way he handled himself through very difficult times.

To sum up, he is extremely happy and has great hope for the future of the club. All he ever wanted was for the club to survive and ultimately succeed. No contact between Marcus and LeGod but he wishes him all the best. However, he would be open for a chat with the new owner but may have to turn down any possible offer of Chairman due to his commitments with Soccer Saturday. We need now to put all bickerings behind us and unite to support this beautiful club and get it back to where we belong.

Completely agree with everything said in this post. I stayed away from the forum for a few days and return to see everyone has become a cynic. It's shocking and is bound to put off any potential investors, especially when this forum has so much power (even as far as controlling the local newspaper ) I know things may not have gone as completely to plan as some people would have wished but this is football, matters will be resolved eventually. We will still have a club by the start of the season and regardless of who owns the club (except Lowe), this time in 6 weeks ... I will be on my way to St. Marys in the sun with a season ticket.

Was taken to my first game when I was 5. Used to spend the majority of the game stood on my seat so I could see the pitch. I had been to a couple of reserve games at the Dell beforehand though but I think this age was about right.

Not many people talking about specific player performances so here goes... Davis - Spectacular, saved a penalty and many more to try and keep us in the game. Mis-kicked a few towards the end however as frustration settled in. Thomson - As we all know, he is not a right back and should never have been played in that position (wonder if Wotte regrets not getting a loan signing now?) Tried his best but didn't get that stuck in. Perry - Got bullied out of the game by two strong forwards, was outpaced and struggled to win much in the air throughout. Saeijis - Wreckless at times today with clumsy challenges and conceded a penalty. Bombed forwards a couple of times though and looked promising. Skacel - IMHO he was sh*te today. Was always found too far forward, leaving massive gaps for the Charlton players to exploit. Seems to have given up already - played for 90 minutes without any heart. Lallana - Had fewer touches on the ball than a few of the ball boys (ball assistants?) Didn't notice he was even on the pitch until he was subbed. Wotton - Ditto, except he won a few more headers and took a few legs out. I always worry he will get sent off... McGoldrick - Took his goal brilliantly and defended well when needed. Didn't see too much of the ball when going forward however as we stupidly stuck to the long ball game til the 85th minute. Surman - Average. Nothing more. Worked well down the left with Skacel and Euell. Looked tired during second half however which is not something I'd expect after a two week break. Euell - Okay game for Jason today. All of our play resulted in a long ball to Euell which the opposition found out quite quickly. Blocked Skacel's shot in the second half from going in (?) unfortunately. Saga - Chased everything. Worked tirelessly for the team today but the ball was rarely played to his feet. Fans - 10/10 ... The Northam didn't stop singing til Charlton scored and even then it was a short break to shout "b0ll0cks" Referee - Sh*t, inconsistent and didn't understand the play on rule.

Wouldn't matter any more than before today's news as there is a recall clause on Bart's move... My knowledge of transfers sadly comes down to little more than my "experience" on Football Manager but according to the extremely accurate game there is always an option to include a recall clause and is just something to be agreed upon between the two clubs involved.
