Having said that, I remember a £5k(ish) accumulator that had all come in except for the late kick off featuring Everton. 90th minute and all I needed was an Everton goal, corner came in and someone poked it home resulting in me going absolute apesh*t as you can imagine ... only to realise shortly afterwards that the goal had been disallowed for a dubious 'foul' on the keeper. Gutted doesn't quite describe it.

Some of the positions you have set are bemusing. Adam Lallana plays out wide far more often then he does straight through the middle. Wanyama and Schneiderlin are also arguably equally accomplished DMs as they are CMs, if not more so. Thankfully there's an editor to change all of my disagreements with MLG this year.

Seaborne may have won everything in the air but for the majority of the second half (excluding the pass to Guly) he had a tendency to 'hoof' it aimlessly forward when caught with possession. Cork was my MotM tbh as he was brilliant in the centre of the park and that through ball for Guly's goal would have split any defence in this league.

Chris Kamara and a group of Championship managers have got together recently to try and put a similar rule to the Football League to see if they will allow it. Makes complete sense if you ask me.

It always annoyed me how quickly the Echo jumped to attack the club for raising the age of Senior season tickets without mentioning that last year's Under 8 Free Season ticket had been extended to Under-12's. My younger brother and sister (both had season tickets last year and would not have had they had to pay, as a result they are both now in love with the club (their birthday list consisted of the Saints home kit, Saints away kit and a Saints teddy bear) and are delighted to still have a season ticket this year. They may be young but I expect that the majority of fans at SMS that pay for tickets now were once taken to a game a young child and haven't looked back since.

True, but one is injury prone and one could be facing a prison sentence. Guly can play out right so that leaves only Lambert as a dedicated forward. Admittredly, I'm stretching the truth quite a bit here but I would love nothing more than to see Jay-Rod and The Nicky Maynard Experience snapped up by Southampton.
