Oops, sorry. I thought I was posting on MoneySavingExpert :-p

I voted Lib Dem. I am an above average earner with two children, currently renting. I'm reasonably happy with the Budget. It is brave. It will hit hard, but in the circumstances there was no avoiding this. Whilst I hold Labour partly responsible for the position we find ourselves in, I am a firm believer that EVERYONE has to take responsibility for this. Government. Businesses. Lenders. Individuals. Everyone has contributed through greed, irresponsibility, ignorance or laziness in one way or another. The price we need to pay is frugal living. I run a tight ship in my house and everyone is very much used to frugal living - so we'll plod on through this and come out the other side no worse off. The ONLY solution in this country is changing millions of peoples mentalities towards money - it's not a very practical thing to be able to do and will potentially take generations to do. In the meantime, action had to be taken and it was never going to be popular and please everyone. Stop crying, man up and get on with it.

Nice tip - shame the BBC fixtures page looks fugly.

It was a spoof.

I've seen Saints Reserves play WHam Reserves at their ground. It's quite small.

Its unlikely and a very similar situation to an IVA. Essentially their credit rating is shot to pieces. I'd be surprised if they got credit with small local suppliers let alone major lenders.

Damn: Sorry ... Unfortunately, your country is not currently supported. At this time, TVCatchup is available only in the United Kingdom.

Double Decker. It pains me to not see them on the confectionery shelf of any establishment. Such a school boy error.

Is it anywhere else except BBC for those connected through non-UK servers? :-(

Was there any point in starting this thread at all? To try and make more overly sensitive people share in the OPs sadness?

Clegg says Tories should be given first chance of forming a government
TUS replied to trousers's topic in The Lounge
At least Clegg had a specific plan for dealing with Immigration and could break it down. Brown had nothing. Cameron's plan for a cap was easily shot down when it was pointed out that the cap doesn't apply to immigrants from within the EU which makes up a considerable proportion of immigrant flow into the country this past two years. Cameron had NO explanation or response to this. IMO the country did not vote on immigration policies ... unfortunately a lot of people still only believe in choosing between two parties and just as many will stick by the same party election after election because it's easier to do so. It ****es me off when someone votes Lab/Con "because my dad* does" [*substitute for mum/husband/wife/partner/uncle/whomever] Although he started sounding repetitive, Clegg is right in that people do have another choice. And my opinion is that an amnesty is a fantastic idea, on the basis that it is a one off amnesty and it is followed swiftly by new immigration controls being put in place (note, NOT a fixed cap). These two activities combined is what is needed. -
Cleggs going with the Tories by the looks of it.

Lib Dem / Lib Dem for me.

If he wasn't a BNP candidate that would never have happened.

I'd love to but my missus couldn't earn as much as me so no chance :-(

http://www.bba-reman.com/forums/Topic93282-1-1.aspx The above link may be useful, seems to be a similar problem. Looks like one of the following: Throttle body, electrical/wiring problem or ECU fault. You may need to consider getting the throttle body actually changed rather than just cleaned and the wiring checked by an auto-electrician. Hope for your sake it isn't an ECU fault because they can be expensive (although ECU faults are actually quite rare). I don't think you will do the car much harm doing the odd journey here and there as it is. However, be aware that it is probably not road worthy (i.e. it would fail an MOT) so if you were pulled you'd have to be ready explain yourself. Sorry I can't be of more help - get it into a reputable/recommended local garage!
-
That depends ENTIRELY on what the problem is. What car? What fault code was it logging? What component is failing? You say no power, but is drivable. Could be a number of things ... sometimes not always obvious from the fault code. My Vectra was logging a code for the Lambda Sensor. Got it changed and still had poor acceleration. The garage's answer was to keep changing other sensors or the coil pack ... which is when things start getting pricey. Did some research myself, ordered a MAF off eBay for £25 on the basis I spotted someone else with the same symptoms. Changed MAF myself and bam ... sorted :-) Saved myself £100s. The point I'm making is you need to start digging into the problem and research the solution. The info is out there. But no one here can help with the vague info provided so far.

Hasn't footballgroundguide existed for years for this purpose? Does this offer anything new?
-
Or you could just say it's a vote for democracy.

Ha, Stan just used the phrase "Papping themselves" :-)

Oh well ... we'll stonk this league next season if we consistently beat the bottom-half teams.
