When is it meant to be finished?
-
The first time in decades I've not bought our new shirt and will continue to wear last seasons for this. It's simply not our strip, end of.
-
Yes, remember it well, I too was in the west stand but about a third of the way along from the Archers. I said to my mate that they're going to get through that fence at any moment but thankfully it held out. A nice pitch invasion after. The thing that sticks out for me is the amount of milk the teams were all drinking after in the upper stand celebrations, how times have changed.

Sorry Lambert is here
-
Nigel having a good chat to fans. No Lambert in squad.
-
No, I don't, only going as we live local. I'm just looking forward to seeing us hopefully score as the last two times, for league games, we haven't managed it at their place.
-
Hate it, I've no idea why there is this misconception that the yellow and blue is so lucky, although I've not got figures I reckon that other than the 76 cup win I think it's been monumentally unlucky. Much prefer darker strips acca Keegan era and last season.

Just got ours, again only 9-23. Has anyone made contact with the ticket office to find out how they are going to deal with this, surely the OS should have something up about this problem by now to avoid the ticket office being faced with a barrage of abuse.

When did Fonte die then!!

I haven't laughed so much in ages. You're so right

One of those "Who would you keep next season?" Threads

If we did get promotion the first and most important signing would have to be a new keeper. -
Walsall Weather Watch / Build-up Thread - Game called off!
Shrivvy Saint replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
Yes, the snow forecast has changed, certainly if roads are gritted it should be OK getting there. The problem is -7 tonight and -3 tomorrow will deffo mean a frozen pitch unless they have it well covered. Birthday treat could still be on! -

Masses of snow forecast for Saturday morning in the south and midlands, even if it's on it's looking like we won't be able to get there!! So goes my birthday treat. Booooo, -
Saints 0 Brentford 2 - Post Match Depression
Shrivvy Saint replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
An utterly woeful performance, worst since Adkins has been in charge and took me back to those awfall displays in between managers earlier this season. Hands tied behind his back can be his only slight let off because of all the changes. Missed Barny terribly as he is our only potent force up front. Wholesale changes needed in January.. and I think there will be some. Problem is we have a lot of games before then. -
One of the problems with Adkins is that he does spout out the same stuff after every game and it's starting to get a bit boring.
-
You are very optimistic. Having witnessed the last 3 games we will be lucky to get 4 points.

Official: 44,000 tickets for Wembley then...
Shrivvy Saint replied to .comsaint's topic in The Saints
This is fair enough about the demand for tickets, it's just not clear to me whether I could buy two tickets with two database numbers in that 3rd sales period. -

Hi Guys, need some clarification. On 10th March sales period would I be able to buy me and my son a ticket, we both have customer numbers as ex ST holders. -
Deffo Red and White, I don't know why so many fans have the paranoia about the yellow and blue as apart from '76 it's been incredibly unlucky

In laymans terms, what will administration mean?
Shrivvy Saint replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Back to the original question - as far as the playing side goes absolutely nothing as we already act like a club in administration anyway - can't afford a proper manager and can't afford a team to compete. Realistically the way things are going Administration is the only way forward just to shake the whole club to its roots. We can only hope that out of it comes better times. -
A spot-on letter. I felt like this after supporting the club for 35 years and being an ST holder for much of that time, at the end of the 06/07 season. Despite reaching the play-offs I just knew that it was just downhill from that point and have not stepped into the ground since.
