I have a feeling it could come back to haunt him, if refs see it there perception on him will change and if he goes down in the box in the future you would have thought a ref would have second thoughts about giving it.

Comfortable afternoons work for the saints, rested some key players like Fonte, oxo and Guly. Hopefully meaning we can go back to second on tuesday.

Is anyone elses saints player not working?

Made my day to hear this news, just oxlade to sign a new contract and possibly bring in a striker, centre back and winger and would be the perfect transfer window. A win today would be the icing on the cake.

Ok not literally but I think Ponting if he goes with four seamers is banking on winning the toss and bowling first, but I just can't see the Aussies taking 20 wickets at the moment, we shall see.

It seems like the Aussies team selection could come down to them winning or losing the toss, Beer is a somewhat interesting selection with a handful of first class games, I am not sure they will risk him. Also I know they are suggesting they "rested" Johnson and Hilf, surely in a massive Ashes series the last thing you want to be doing is resting your "strike" bowlers, baffling really.

Without Fonte at the heart of the defence it looks a bit shaky. I think Adkins needs to bring in a few new faces.

Is it 4 because it was techinally violent conduct, think 4 games seems a tad harsh. Looking forward to the game though, win or bust now at the business end of the season. Our excellent goal difference could be crucial I think.
