  1. I moved to Darlington to be with our lass, and when the FA CUP game was on the telly, went down the pub expecting to be out numbered by the plastic manure fans, only to find to my surprise, my neighbour sporting a SAINTS shirt as well. So in one part of Darlington we have a out post for saints fans. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/ I also run this blog you are welcome to have a look, and for anyone who posts a comment during this month will be entered into a prize draw to win a shop sealed England football shirt
  2. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/ I found quite a few you tube videos for our new striker. Funny how the dutch love to video their friendlies. Hope he plays as well for us.
  3. I think we could win 2 nil nut this is the betting form NORWICH EVENS DRAW 12/5 SAINTS 4/1 With the latest events we could easily see the prices move around a bit. But I am confident with our away form and new manager in place, we could be well worth the 4/1 price. To many times the bookies have raised our odds and we have come away (mind the pun) with the away points. We have the FA CUP to get out of the way, and to see who out of the team will be kept in or out of the picture. to get prices on players scoring nearer the time. But nil nil is 8/1 as usual because with two new managers in place it could end up a stalemate. Our relegation price is now 5/6, what is the price of going into administration though. It looks to be a game of pokerface, to see which of the CCC clubs go into administration first and take the minus ten points hit, thus letting other teams stay up by taking the hit at a later date. Maybe Mr Lowe should take all his money and put it on a SAINTS win, could do no worse than what he has done with all the money in the past. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/
  4. I think it could be a goalless draw, but hope it will be a win for Southampton. and so my prediction is two nil to Southampton. I have been unable to create a new post, but just wanted folks to know that I am running a prize draw in connection with my Saints blog. One of my sponsors has kindly donated an England shirt and so anyone posting a comment between now and the end of Feb on my blog will be entered into the prize draw. from one saints fan to you all good luck and thank you if you take the time to have a look. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/
  5. I think this weekend could be a turning point for the team. SAINTS 5/4 DRAW 12/5 DONCASTER 12/5 A must win game for the SAINTS as they want to draw clear of the relegation, and the next two matches are crucial. The prices for SAINTS have lengthened thanks to Charlton's poor form and you can get 4/1 on us finishing bottom, not that we want to bet on this. Anytime goal scorers range from 13/8 for McGoldrick or 13/5 for BWP. We have 6/1 for Surman who has cooled off recently since being out of the team. Or you could go with one of the defenders to score in 90 mins, Molyneux at 12/1 or Perry at 20/1. I honestly think a goal could be scored by anyone in the SAINTS side at the moment, so it may well be worth looking down the list on the team sheet to midfield and defenders for anytime prices. As for the final score itself, I am thinking 2-0 to the SAINTS which is priced at 9/1 but you have to cover the usual SAINTS event which is a goal less draw which is 8/1, either way I just hope we win. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/
  6. BARNSLEY 11/10 DRAW 12/5 SAINTS 10/3 Whilst trying to see who is in the team I looked at the price for Saints and expected a much larger figure, yeah, Barnsley are not high flyers, but we can not buy a goal, and considering how close to administration we are, we certainly couldn't afford the price if someone offered it. But 10/3 I would have expected at least 5/1 or higher, but of course the bookies don't like losing money so the price is low. I did try to look through for other prices. But my heart is not in it, we need a win, any sort of a win, and so would stick with the stingy prices of 10/3 but I was amazed at that you still had prices up for saints players to score, who are either suspended or haven't played for us for a long time due to injury or our own inability to pay them due to contracts. Do these bookies care about what prices they put up. A price of 5/1 for Paterson to score. That would be a bloody miracle as he is banned for three games. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/
  7. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/2008/12/celebrity-big-brother.html She is priced at 14/1 to win at the moment. and is getting 150 grand to appear which is only beaten by the 175 grand for ulrika johnson
  8. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/2008/12/great-goals-and-victories-over-man-utd.html I have been looking for some video clip footage on the net, but due to working I have not had the time to scour everywhere. I have thought found two good clips so far. Which you will see on the link. A sublime lon by Le Tissier against Schmichal and Stokes goal to win the FA CUP. My own thoughts on Man Utd go like this, In the mid 90s it was not just the beating of Man Utd which was so good but the manor of their excuses when they lost. Beating them one nil on a monday night, Fergie complained that the ground was too small and that Manure was used to playing at larger grounds and this had dis orientanted them... Then we beat them 6-3 with a lot of the goals coming near the end, Fergie complained that the ref played to much added time. Which had its own sartorial elegance, due to the fact no ref in the land would finish a game until Manure had scored the winner, with a few games involving them having over 7 mins over time and them scoring last gasp winners. Also it did not matter about the time, as Manure had not led at any point. But my all time favourite is http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/2008/12/invisible-man.html the famous grey shirt, when they arrived and conceded three goals in the first half as Manure, and to hide the shame changed shirts to the blue and white stripes and left as sheff wed. That has to be the best excuse for losig ever. So please Saints win this game, because it will not only be the victory which we will be class but the excuse to come with it will just add to the occasion. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/ That aside, my blog turned pro yesterday and had its first article from a professional sports writer. Your welcome to come and have a look. And any support would be welcome. Thank you.
  9. Southampton v Manchester United betting SAINTS 12/1 DRAW 9/2 MAN UTD 3/10 Is 12/1 a fair odds ? It is long odds but not one of the longest, that can be found with Barrow, who are priced 20/1 to beat Middlesboro and Blyth Spartans are priced 14/1 to beat Blackburn, So now you can see how hard a task we have. 12/1 is the price you can get for Everton to make it to the final, so for us to win one game against Man Utd is parable to Everton to win five games to get to the final. Correct score prices are as follows, one nil to Saints is priced at 20/1 this would replicate 1976. three one to Saints which would replicate the grey shirt result is 100/1 and six goals to three in favour of Saints, would be a chuffing miracle or 250/1. And as for any time goal scorers, you go through nine of the Man Utd team before getting a price of 10/3 for a saints player. Maybe we will play for the replay at old Trafford and so nil nil 16/1. If only I was psychic, could make a fortune on this match. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/
  10. It is great to see a positive attitude. I have only three posts a day, so will use this one on yourself. I am not a glory chaser and have followed Saints all my life due in the main to Kevin Keegan and then Le God himself. I know it is not easy, but I am sure there is a good few clubs outthere who think woe is me. Lowe is what he is, and plenty of the footballers who have played for us, have only done so for the money, But we have had worse positions, ie losing all 7 games at the begining of the premiership season. losing in the league cup to the likes of Shrewsbury, Northampton, Rochdale, Lincoln, Rotherham. the list goes on. But we are not quitters. and whilst SFC stays in business I will follow them, and if I was to win the lottery tomorrow I would follow them up and down the country and give them all the support which I could. It could be worse. We could start the season on minus 15 or more. Like Rotherham and Luton and co did. A few seasons ago we made the FA CUP final, we have ups and down. what we need most of all is a positive attitude. Imagine if the players bother to read these blogs. Hardly inspiring is it ? http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/
  11. You can pay £3.99 for a match or £30 for the year, but this has been the first time all season which I haven't been working or had family duties. Spent the past hour searching the net, only to find all so called free links. come at a price. Did listen to Radio Berkshire up until kick off, and then they barred you over the internet. Radio Hampshire was even switched off before that. Shame we are not in the Premiership as I have seen all the goals for the premiership games already. But they dont feed down into the championship. But having seen all the comments, you almost want to find a tin hat, or bury your head between your legs and hope for the best... Can it get any worse ? http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/
  12. Saints v Reading betting SAINTS 7/2 DRAW 5/2 READING 10/11 I was expecting much longer odds for the Saints win, but considering the bookies got stung last time, you can hardly be surprised at their scrooge like mentality, it is the season after all for scrooge. Considering our outstanding goalscoring record, ok laugh away I was being sarcastic, you can get 19/10 for us not to score at all in this match, or if you are optimistic 4/9 on us scoring. I did have a look through the match specials bet and the only one which stood out for me was " Half the job done " Sounds about right for the Saints, you get 6/4 on Saints winning either of the halves. Just one last thought, last time we had three big priced games, we had 2 and half success with two wins and a draw. This weekend we have Saints at 7/2 Charlton at 5/1 and Watford at 4/1 to win their respective games, now how about that for a combo to win ? Funny farm here I come. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/
  13. If I had to make a prediction it would be 2-0 too the SAINTS. As I will never willingly bet against them. PLYMOUTH EVENS DRAW 12/5 SAINTS 3/1 I have almost give up trying to predict what is going to happen, and find it better just to report some of the interesting prices and let yourself make the decission. One of the funniest bets which I have seen, was the price for Jan the Man to be manager of the month. 33/1 What sort of crazy fool would ever want to place that bet ? you can get 33/1 for Alex Pearce being the first goal scorer this weekend. Considering how poor at scoring we have been, you can get 7/1 to 10/1 which would cover the first three saints strikers so you could cover all three and come away with a price of 5/2 to cover all three of McGoldrick/BWP and Surman. But two games in three days. and what will happen god only knows, but the bookies are starting to think we are down, with the price for a saints relegation being 5/4 and for us to finish bottom of 11/2. Lets hope we prove them wrong. http://saintsnodisbelieving.blogspot.com/
  14. The only thing about 14th place, it was only boosted by the forest gate, we could easily have been in 18th or even lower without it.
  15. With any luck, they will turn up in there grey shirts. Come as Man Utd and leave as Sheff Wed
