  1. Been a very enjoyable game. We have looked so much better going forwards. But so many mistakes and if not for McCarthy we would have conceded. Gabbi has been excellent. Stop giving the ball away, and Armstrong changes his boots and we can see this one out.
  2. Gabbi!!!!! Saving us again!
  3. We have started badly again. They seem to be concentrating on our left. Bertrand needs some help out there.
  4. Apparently Les Reed is available.
  5. Should have gone a long time ago. I wonder what if/any impact it will have on the academy and that rumoured thing about youngsters being forced to sign with his sons agency. Bet the players are gutted he won't be going into the dressing room at half time anymore.
  6. Was awful yesterday. ****ed up for the 1st goal. Kicked ball away for a silly yellow. Tried to be cocky and do a back heel which went straight to their player allowing them to break away and almost scoring. Took an horrific corner that went straight to their player again which they almost scored from the break away. Gave the ball away countless times. One or two decent free kicks in 90mins doesn't make up for the poor overall performance.
  7. **** off back to your own forum you skate bastard
  8. Just ignore him, he is a skate.
  9. JWP is done, get rid of this clown
  10. Hughes will set up 9-1-0 We will keep them out for 45mins without going into their half. Pep will do his HT team talk and change tactics By end of 2nd half we will let in 4 or 5. Hughes talks about how we made a statement in the first half and City struggled to get past the parked bus.
  11. It is a really horrible thing to happen and thoughts go out to Leicester fans and to the families involved. The thing I have taken from this is that he was a really nice person who cared deeply for the club and its supporters. He connected with the fans and understood the emotional aspect they have with the club. Walking around with the fans, talking to them, feeling the same emotions as them. On their forum someone mentioned they once told him thank you for buying the club. He replied it is our club and to cheer them on as loud as they could. For me that is why it is a big loss for them. It isn't that he bought them, that he guided them to a title. It was that he made the effort to be involved with them. Was open and honest with them. Walking around the pitch and talking to people simply because he was genuinely interested in what they had to say. I look at it from a Saints fan point of view. How would I feel if it was our owner it happened to? As harsh as it is I would be sad someone lost their lives, that people were hurt. But the truth is I don't know our owner. They have made no effort to be involved with the fans. They have made no effort to communicate with the fans, never expressed why they were here. They would be just another person who sadly died on that day. To have someone in charge of your club who get's it, is emotionally involved in what happens at the game for 90mins and understands that fans are not walking wallets. They are people who care about the same-thing and it impacts their lives hugely. Owners like that and people like that in this day and age are very few in numbers. Very sad day for them and thoughts go out to all involved.
  12. Reed and co are the reason we are where we are. However Hughes is responsible for the playing side. It is his job to get the players playing. His job to pick the team, pick the tactics and so on. He said in his last interview that he sanctioned our summer signings. So he had a say on them. And two of those new signings are not getting games and one is seriously struggling. But yet he still get's picked. The same with Austin. He has pretty much 2 players playing the same role and for however many matches in a row they have still not scored nor looked like they would. It has not worked but he has persisted with it. For me that is a very worrying sign. If a manager can see a system is not working and doesn't change it then that manager is not very good. Regardless of what has happened above him Hughes has taken the club to lower than MoPo2 levels. If that continues we will go down. He doesn't look as though he will change it. Thus he needs to be changed before it is too late.
  13. Austin playing like someone who knows no matter how he plays he isn't getting dropped.
  14. Got a feeling there will be a sending off in this game. We do seem to lack a bit of discipline these days. And with the wind up merchants Newcastle have ie Shelvey and Ritchie you just know someone is going to bite.
  15. Hughes said we made a statement in the game at Bournemouth and teams won't enjoy playing us. So I can imagine They must be ****ting themselves having to come down here and play us. Austin and Mo have to be dropped. Especially Mo. Has done **** all and is not creating anything.
  16. Just thought I would log in for a bit of pre match Always SFC supporter bashing..... as predicted there he is, bashing the fans again. Anyone would think he was a skate. Never talks about football just here to bash Saints fans.
  17. Sadly that is one of those stats that isn't reflective of reality. Of our 14 shots a game only 4 are on target. 20% of shots are on target. The lowest team is Newcastle who have 8 shots per game. But 3 are on target = 37% on target. However the interesting stat is of our 14 shots per game 5 of them are blocked. Basically meaning as we all know we mostly have non goal threatening shots. But to someone who doesn't look at the details of the shots its easy to think we must be peppering the goal.
  18. Win or lose I just hope we give it a go and try and win the game. If we do that and lose, fine. But playing ultra defensive, looking for a draw and then ****ing it up again will be hard to take. If we play like that and get thumped Hughes is done. He already has a worse record than MP2 in the league and we know how **** that was.
  19. Ralph and Les are Bullet proof. They earn a lot of money that they wouldn't get anywhere else. If we go down they are going nowhere. I think putting pressure on Gao is the right answer. I don't know how that would be done but its clear he is a huge factor in us slipping into oblivion. Cheers Kat, hope you are happy with your dirty money. And i'm sure she is.
  20. Not all his fault at all. But he keeps talking about not picking players who can't do it at the weekend, picking people he trusts etc. Yet continues to pick the same people, play the same way and get the same results. The players are gash no doubt about it but if they are not performing drop them. Pick some kids if need be. That's on the manager. He is **** and tactically doesn't have a clue. He is trying to implement 1990s style football in 2018.
  21. And Hughes' league win % drops bellows MP2. Top top manager.
  22. Fair play to Newcastle though. Rafa came with the plan to attack them from the off. We would have defended on mass. I bet Utd get back into the game off of some bull****. The ref has been awful.
  23. Can't see a mauling here. Hughes will set up in his ultra defensive style. Park the bus. Then around the 70th min he will bring a midget on (JWP, Davis) and Giroud will get a free header. 0-1
  24. Tadic just created a goal against Bayern Munich too.....
