To be fair the whole Toby thing was a total **** up on our part. I believe the board dropped the ball and rightly deserve criticism. They said last year the plan was to hold on to our best players which obviously hasn't turned out that way. I would like to know what our actual strategy is. Selling 3 main players or more each season is not a good business strategy. You can only get away with it so many times. Next season is going to be very tough and we need to add to our squad with proven quality. Hopefully we can do that in the next few weeks.

Quite worrying that some people can't accept the club messed up. Everyone ****s up its human nature. But to defend the mess up and pretend it isn't one is a bit deluded. The club has been run great and we all have faith in them. To suggest they messed up doesn't mean people have it in for them. They made a mistake which means we lost a good player. We move on.

Sadly if you want top players you need to pay top wages. With the new tv deals even the team that finishes last will get £100m. So of course we need to live within our means but £10m in the grad scheme of things is pocket change to PL clubs now.

Downside of doing loans. If the player does well means more interest from other clubs. Should of done permanent deal in January like we did for Bertrand.
