I did email a Mod. I shared with him the information I had. He knows why it cannot be made public. Your turn of phrase about me not having to explain why things don’t happen...guess what, dip****, I’m not paid or employed or accountable to you or anyone else on this forum, so, with the greatest of respect, jog on.

You’ll never get the time you spent writing that back.

Hello ****ers. I’m back, but only for this. Board meeting this afternoon. Still in there as of an hour or so ago.

Hello forum. I'm back after my hissy fit and a holiday - I had a lovely time, thanks for asking. I can't release the names of the two attacking players we were looking to bring in at the end of the window as they remain active targets for future windows. One deal was being pursued actively until the final day of the window but didn't materialise for a variety of reasons. Team news ahead of Saturday - I've been told that VVD will start this week. By the way, although I'm over my hissy fit, those still doubting what I know, I'll just remind you that I told you MP wasn't going to let Long go after the Burnley bid because he rated him. Perhaps that was just a lucky guess too.

Whats you're problem? its like you think I should know absolutely everything going on at the club or else none of what I've been told and have shared is right. And that deals the club makes or are trying to make are always cut and dried like if I say one thing and it doesn't happen, then what I said was a wind up. I don't know what world you live in but in mine things change from time to time. Doesn't mean the information I had and shared was wrong or lies. Go **** yourself you can find out (filtered) news through the OS. My number one concern is protecting my source not too satisfy ****s like you.

I don't seem to be able to send PM's. When I click Send new message it says I don't have permission. Any suggestions?

He is staying I'm told. No acceptable bids are expected today. Be interesting too see how this plays out over the next few weeks and months. Expect one incoming to get over the line today. Happy Transfer deadline day

I was expecting a update yesterday but all relatively quiet as of last night. Club still working hard to line up our deals and getting ready to respond if a serious offer for VVD come in which is expected. Still being told that a improved Liverpool offer, if it comes, is likely to be rejected. Club are prepared to call VVd's bluff and leave him to sit out the whole season if that's what he wants to do. Club don't think he'll do that all season but if he does thhe club are prepared for that to happen.
-
The answer to that is a very dark place. The curse of a free bar. I'm better today, thanks for asking. Anyway, update I got yesterday is I gather that the reports of a done deal to Liverpool are wide of the mark. However, it's certainly more likely that VVD will leave now than it was 7-10 days ago. But no deal has been agreed with any club. We are pursuing two transfer strategies. The first is no club meets the valuation and VvD stays and we sign one of the two players I've mentioned before. The second is we sell VVD and sign a high profile attacking player and I understand we've made moves to do that. I haven't been told any names. Would still sign the other player and then look to send an attacking player out on loan. There's a little more information I have but can't share it yet. Expect another update later today.

They're not.

As some reasonable posters have said, you can either choose to believe what I write or not. I don't really care either way and I'm not going to be upset if you don't. Anyway, latest news I have is that VVD is now almost certain to leave in this window. My source said he still thinks that it won't be to Liverpool though. If he goes, our incoming targets are likely to change. That's what MP was referring to yesterday when he said we never know what will happen in the last moment...we are ready. Hoedt unlikely to start today. Wish I was going but some inconsiderate fcker chose to get married today. 1-2 win for me I reckon. Redmond and Gabbi. COYR!

This forum makes me laugh (not in a good way for example I'm disappointed I haven't seen any discussion about the rank injustice of pitching that big lad against the small ginger lad in the half time relay last night). Yesterday I was definitely a plant by the club. Today I'm VVD's barber. Wonder who will have definitely planted me tomorrow. Mr Gao perhaps. You're right in what you say apart from I did see Lemina coming flower. take a look back and you'll see I told you the day of the signing. I knew the situation with Hoedt but was limited in what I could share, I knew about Gazzaniga before that came out in the press. The offer to the keeper, Clasie and the takeover I all knew about too. I cut all of there hair. Apart from that your post was right. ? I have to be careful with what I say about some things for what I hope will be obvious reasons. So if I'm vague, I'm usually doing it for a reason. I don't get told about everything that happens at the club so I'm not going to be able to cover everything. No new VVD news today. He didn't come in for his haircut. Some new news I've been told. Burnley bid for Shane Long and it was rejected. A CL club have enquired about him more recently but not been told who - can't be many likely options though. Either Tottenham or Liverpool I would think? We still intend to keep him though I'm told.

Put the result to one side because any side can lose a game, but last night was up there with one of the worst performances I've seen for a few years. Slow, ponderous, lack of intensity, lack of interest. I was bored watching it. I don't think one player came away with any credit not even Romeu. My mind is now made up on Boufal; he's never going to be the player we all hoped he would be. Before he got taken off, I commented that he looked like he was trying to get himself subbed off. He kept giving the ball away like he was doing it deliberately. To further dampen my mood, I was told of two players we are interested in signing before the window closes (will be one or the the other not both). Both are black box, Hojbjerg/Bednarek, hidden gem types. Might be useful in time but definitely not the proven attacking/creative impact player we desperately need. Vietto not going to happen apparently.

Like I said, I'll share more on 1st September if VVD has gone. You'll know then that I'm no plant. The idea of a multi million pound organisation having a plant on a ****ty fans forum is bonkers by the way...Just have a lie down and think that through for a minute. Re: Questions about Liverpool... They are the only club that has bid. I honestly don't know if the club will soften their stance towards Liverpool. I haven't heard anything at all to suggest they will though.
-
There are things I know but cannot say. I will share them on here on 1st September if VVD has gone. But the report that things are now toxic is absolutely true. Even if VVD stays, I don't see a way for him to play given what I've been told in the last 24-36 hours. I fully expect him to go now. The club will be criticised by some and some will say this was the clubs plan all along. I can promise you it was not.
-
Won't be Cedric or RB either. If the club has any chance of reconciling with VVD after the window closes, both of those players will still need to be here.
-
The updates I have on most stuff is already out in the press. Hoedt is signing. Being signed as a starter. Clasie and Gazzaniga both off (posted about that a couple of weeks ago though). One more to go too apparently. Unlikely to be Long I'm told. MP likes him. On VVD, there is an offer. It's close to valuation but will be rejected, even if its increased. Three other clubs have enquired; all EPL. Doesn't look like any will get close to valuation. May change as window closes. Stalemate still...club refusing to sell, player refusing to play. Something went on today relating to a fine. Not sure what. Club seemingly prepared to keep him in the knowledge he may continue to refuse to play. One more player to come in. Attacking player. I have more info on some of these things but can't share I'm afraid.
-
There's lots of updates but unfortunately I cannot share any of them (yet). Regarding Hoedt, I don't know for sure what's going on but previously I was told Wimmer was the preferred target of the two. However, Spurs weren't prepared to let him go without signing another CB. Their deal for Sanchez appeared to stall earlier in the week so perhaps we then made a play for Hoedt thinking the Wimmer deal might not happen. The Sanchez deal then went through quite quickly towards the end of the week, so perhaps we're back in for Wimmer? I'm speculating though based on previous info I've been given.

Wow. You know transfer news has gone quiet when... I'll clarify some things. 1) I am not Les Reed. 2) I am also not a PR plant by the club. 3) I don't share with you everything I know because that would expose my source. I share what I can, when I can. I wouldn't share anything that I think might damage the clubs reputation or any transfer deals. 4) Contact with my latest source has only been established for 6 months or so. 5) I've had previous sources in the past that have come and gone from the club. 6) There have been times when I've had had no sources and just posted unsubstantiated rumours I'd heard on the forum. 7) My Danny Ings posts were 100% legit based on the information I had at the time!!

I knew the news today was coming (albeit I only found out yesterday it was happening today) but told I couldn't share anything on the forum (strictly). However, I can share what the implications are now re: VVD, some of which I knew and shared yesterday. Kat was open to VVD leaving. She's a businesswomen and so was happy to sell him at the highest price to any club, including Liverpool. Les was adamant that we will not sell him to Liverpool at any price, and that it would take a monumental offer to sell him to any other club. He would rather VVD stays and doesn't play. He feels the club needs to make a stand and financially the club is in a good position and doesn't need the VVD money. Before the takeover, Kat was likely to win out and VVD would have left. Now, it's anyone's guess what the new owner will want. On one hand, £70-80m minus the Celtic sell on fee and one or two player purchases, pays off nearly a fifth or so of the amount Gao has paid for the club. On the other hand, VVD is a big draw and our best player and for the club to continue to grow and compete at the top level, and therefore increase the return on the investment in the long term, it makes sense to keep him at the club. Pure speculation on my part, but I think the new owners first move to sell their best player would get the relationship with the fans off to a terrible start so I think he now stays. But that's speculation and not based on any ITK information. For sure though, the only influence inside the club that was open to selling VVD to Liverpool (assuming they were the highest bidder), has now gone. Which is why I was confident to post last night he wasn't going to Liverpool because Kat was the last remaining hope for VVD that might happen and I knew the takeover was going ahead today.
-
Well, the three I was told would be going out were VVD, Clasie and Gazzaniga. The attacking player was coming in anyway. However, I've asked about Long having seen stories about him and not really given an answer. Perhaps we are looking at two attacking players coming in? One additional and one as a Long replacement? But that's me guessing.
-
The loan offer with option to buy was for Vietto. It's stalled though apparently. Other options being looked at. I'm told the favoured CB we are after is Wimmer. Depends on Spurs signing a replacement. Formal offers for VVD expected this week. From at least 2 clubs, possibly 3. One from abroad apparently. If valuation is met, he will go. Not to Liverpool though. Their offer, if it comes, I'm told will be refused. Still don't know who the keeper is or what the status of that deal is. Sorry, no real news which is why I haven't posted recently, but you asked....
-
No, sorry.
