I am hoping that Tella has a good start and grows into a very useful addition to our first team. He has pace to spare and for me just needs time to show what he can do.
-
careful you sound like a homophobic twat.
-
I think we will get a couple of useful players in. 12th to 14th

I am seriously concerned this could be the first of many defeats for us.

I for one do not.

Obafemi was in Ralph's bad books wasn't he over his poor record of behaviour. If he has sorted that out then maybe he could make the grade but for me not possible.

but 6m off price for Armstrong ? -
maybe just maybe we could have a Simeu and Salisu pairing at CB
-
As do we all or at least the majority of us.

So disappointing how the promise when he first came in deteriorated so badly. Just a theory but could he have become disillusioned when Cedric regained his spot at rb. I thought for a while he looked like he knew he was here on sufferance. Perhaps he thought he was a better player.

I agree with you in so far he accepted an offer made in error by the Saints to get a long contract. However you cannot really believe that football at the top is like me playing Sunday football. The man has every right to stay put but doing so only hurts the team because of his high wages, Paying over the odds for someone not rated as our number 1 is crazy. AM we got from Palace and he was only a reserve. Neither FF nor AM are good enough for us as goalkeepers. With both being bad at keeping clean sheets often enough we should put both on the transfer list and look for another keeper. Once one has gone and with a new keeper who hopefully would be number 1 we would have a reserve to fall back on if necessary.

I wish we had someone at the helm with enough insight to make a decision along those lines.
-
i agree he was a very poor player for us when he had talent to spare. Schneiderlin might have regretted leaving us when he did as well. Pity because he was nexcellent for us.
-
sarcasm can occasionally be quite amusing. Not always though I fully understand where you are coming from. For me he should have left us before without getting that new contract.

i tend to go along with that -
I don't see why they couldn't have a replay instead of the penalties. I still remember saints winning at White Hart Lane against Nottngham Forest in third attempt at getting into next round.
-
if we paid him off at a fee agreed by both parties, FF would be free to go wherever he could. We would be able to bring in a GK either on loan or as understudy. Difference is that instead of him keeping the bench warm we have a different player in his place. He may turn the offer down but if offered 2m up front with the added option of earning at Celtic he might well take the offer. I know I would take the money and run.
-
why don't we just go and get Armstrong if we still want him. Waiting for Ings to go or stay is simply futile.
-
We could pay him off to get rid of him.
-
I agree. If we keep him we have a year to find a reasonably good replacement. We can use the time picking someone that will fit our system. or maybe get someone that we can build our team around.

The government has several options available to them to try to ease this problem. They could fine the media giants for every abusive post found. Not just racist but all forms of abuse. They can also try persuading other companies (FA, FIFA,EPL, EFL) etcetera to open their own sites for fans to mix. I would willingly pay £5 to register to a well run site. I know I cancelled my full membership on here because of total frustration at thing posted by some. I like this site because it often gives us info that our competition then copies. The fee though small would surely be enough to bring an interested player to check out the possibility and feasibility of such an idea.
