To be fair we have had a good run up to the last two seasons with Les in position. If he has learned to be more sensible with the type of managers we need, he might just survive a tad longer.

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

Alderweirald might be a good fit but can't see him wanting to come back here. -
If we lose Sparky because the old fogies dither too much or plain don't want anyone that aint a yes man I will have to sharpen my blades I guess.

No thank you to Berahino

If we were to sell our best player it has to be at a price that means we can get Butland as replacement. Crazy some will say but way Alex has performed he has to be at least as good so worth the same or more money.

Time for Saints to announce Hughes has signed a new contract

Targett got caught out of position a couple of times ball watching. He was also unable to stop the Jerome goal. That said he has improved as the season went by after getting a good run of games. Which is something he has not really been permitted with us. He hasn't really let us down when he has played for us and believe he could do a job for us. Especially if money is tight and we need the money spent on a striker(one that scores regularly), a good actively mobile central midfield player, and a strong defensive minded cb.

Being Saints fans we are born pessimists but we still follow and support no matter the pain. We have one small obstacle to bypass and then we prepare for next season
-
no thank you. Self motivated thinks he is better than he has produced and even better upsets his team mates.
-
We are better than this so we can rise above their level. Especially if they drop a league.
-
It won't happen any more than poor refereeing decisions will be erased from our matches
-
swansea appeared to put more effort in so hopefully we will outlast them and score late
-
Hey !! After we have won have a drink for me, lol
-
Alex has taken the bull by the horns and is clearly our number 1 right now.
-
Huddersfield drawing with Man City means they are 3 points above us and Swansea. They still have Arsenal at home so I reckon we must win as stated so many times before or face the dreaded drop.
-
We will draw at Swansea and then put the proverbial bus in front of goal against City and wonder of wonders score a winner deep into extra time from a penalty Then I wake up
-
Saints edging it so far
-
See Stoke now bottom lol

1950, Southampton FC's stadium, The Dell, became the first ground in England to have permanent floodlighting installed. The first game played under the lights there was on 31 October 1950, in a friendly against Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic, followed a year later by the first "official" match under floodlights, a Football Combination (Reserve team) match against Tottenham Hotspur on 1 October 1951.

Our last home game could be a good time for a huge after match anti Reed demonstration or if preferred before match.

Stephens is perhaps a choice for rb rather than cb though he does not instil me with confidence yet
