Your attitude doesn’t surprise me Les - hopefully your family never finds itself in a similar situation.
-
Not the question I asked.

What did you make of the dubs amendment?

A highly absorbing contest according to the commentators. -

Did Ings touch it with his hand before they did? Couldn’t see it clearly. -

Clear foul. The kind of cynicism you’d expect from Alli. -
Maybe Goa’s in lockdown in China and can’t now smuggle out the suitcases of cash for a shiny new LB and RB. No doubt, some on here would sooner believe that than the fact that the club is reluctant is spend despite stated areas of need.
-
The fact that the country is already poorer than it otherwise would have been is irrelevant to you. All that matters is that Osborne's predictions turned out wrong. Is like you when you predict us getting smashed in the prematch threads and we only end up losing 2-0?

Where’s all the fighting talk about securing the exact same benefits of membership without the obligations? Or at least some significant asymmetry in favour of the UK given it’s indispensability to the EU. All that leverage and all that the UK can secure is a threadbare zero tariff zero quota FTA if it sticks to its red lines. Sounds like you’ve finally woken up and realised that divergence comes with matching costs. There is no cake. It’s taken an embarrassingly long time which reflects poorly on your judgement but better late than never Les.
-
No Les - you’re getting confused again. It doesn’t mean a bare bones FTA (as in zero tariffs, zero quotas) or no deal. It means no deal.
-
Of course, a bare-bones FTA is available if the UK signs up to EU demands on fishing and a level playing field. Have you been following the news? Obviously not.

RIP. Lived very nearby. Used to swap greetings with him as I walked the dog on the heath. Last saw him during summer when he was with his carer, looking in pretty grim shape. A very affable and down to earth bloke.

Is he Ubering for KSI?

Agree, though Bertrand doesn’t cover himself in glory either. Just look at his and Cedric’s starting position when the ball is initially flicked over the top for Traore. They’re virtually level - if anything Bertrand is closer as it’s down his channel. Then compare Cedric and Betrand’s desire/awareness to get back and defend. The difference is night and day -Cedric deserves a lot of credit for his recovery and was unlucky not to cut things out. The less said about Bertrand, the better. Same goes for Hoj who slows down completely, waving his arm like a ****.

Get it done by erecting a border in our own country just to safeguard the EU’s single market. That’s very generous of us You’re prepared to swallow anything provided it’s not your own pride. What happened to the UK holding all the cards, being able to dictate terms and secure the benefits of membership without the obligations and the negotiations being a cakewalk? You and your deluded sense of entitlement and exceptionalism have been made to look foolish over the past three years and the real fun and games haven’t even started yet.

Ralph wanted up to five signings last summer. He got two (and the pointless Danso) and according to the likes of Adam Leitch was disappointed by our lack of activity. Can’t see this summer being any different until we rid ourselves of all the deadwood under contract. (Cue MLG or somebody else on spectrum informing us that Ings was technically signed last summer).

Everything you said would come to pass in the last three years has failed to materialise; still I admire your dour persistence and pluckiness pal.

In Les warped little world, it’s all project fear. Not to mention he and Saj know more about the needs of UK industry than the people running it.
-
The cheap bluster might work for your eBay garden gnome business Les. But it’s fooling nobody in Europe and only succeeding in freaking out UK industry. #fûckbusiness

I've watched the highlights. You should rewatch them too pal. Two points. Firstly there are three defenders around or near Traore: Stephens, Cedric and Bednarek. Second you might say the other two -Hoj and Bertrand- are too far off the play and are not involved. But just look at the starting position of Jimenez, the goalscorer, when Wolves break starts. He's even further back than both them. Yes or no? If he can show commitment and awareness to get forward into a goal scoring position, there's absolutely no reason why Hoj and Bertrand with their head start couldn't have done the same and influenced play. Instead they're ambling back (much like the goal up at Spurs) with Hoj particularly slow to react.
