  1. Giroud Luiz Ali De Gea Roy Keane tops the all-time list.
  2. I don't think you've understood the point, little westie. Other things being equal, the more educated you are, the more likely you were to vote remain.
  3. I know some chumps bought their Heritage Foundation-Mickey Mouse t-shirts to mark a blossoming of the special relationship but this is what trade in the real world looks like. As for attempting to monetise security alliances... https://www.ft.com/content/458747f0-4187-11ea-a047-eae9bd51ceba
  4. After controlling for age, it’s still the case that the more educated you were, the more likely you were to vote remain. So not sure what point Sergei was trying to make.
  5. Not sure what people want: they hate the precision of an offside rule that virtually eliminates the discretion of the ref; then moan in other circumstances when the discretion they’ve been calling for consciously or unconsciously favours the big teams.
  6. I see Les is doing everything possible to prove how angry he still is - rather than magnanimity on their big day and looking forward to a bright new dawn, he and his fellow oddballs at spiked-online prefer to stew in the past and hand out make-believe awards for a condition that only exists in their bitter minds. What’s eating away at you pal?
  7. Poor defending.
  8. Kevin Friend being Kevin Friend.
  9. I see the hashtag #thick is trending on twitter - it piqued my curiousity. Wish I hadn't looked now
  10. Too much sherry Les? Did you manage to find your mobility scooter OK? Hot off Gove’s admission yesterday, we see the groundwork for another cowardly climbdown (and unkept promise). Where’s all the fighting talk of UK leverage, bespoke deals, frictionless trade, maintaining similar trade relations with the EU outside the EU, getting better deals than Canada, Norway and Switzerland, +++’s? Instead the implication is that mighty old UK (in due course England and Wales) is looking at an off-the-shelf arrangement dictated by Barnier’s menu.
  11. I always love “best of” highlights where there isn’t a single stand in sight.
  12. It was a horrendous mistake either way. And his form all season has been erratic at best.
  13. Yep and he could have a gifted them a goal and a lead. Palace fans on the way back from the game thought it would have been a very different contest if they had taken that chance.
  14. Goa’s pushovers.
  15. Because the alternative to how our club has been run over the past few years is doing a pompey or leeds, right pal?
  16. I’d pick Yoshida over Danso and Vestergaard. At the very least, they’re not automatics ahead of him.
  17. Completely agree Adrian.
  18. Apart from all the evidence suggesting that the country is already poorer than it would have been if it had voted to remain. Still, if a good old strawman makes you feel any better (it doesn’t make you less stupid mind), fill your boots, little westie.
  19. They still don’t know what they’ve won (excluding meaningless abstractions and soundbites). Some are even climbing down from the big claims they’ve made over the past three years: that you can have frictionless trade while leaving the CU and SM. What remains is gloating at how angry leaving the EU will make the remainiacs. Which is very odd coming from a bunch of middle-aged and angry old men.
  20. You’re still speaking meaningless gibberish Les. It’s exactly as I intended as I couldn’t care less about the length of your posts (longwinded though they are) but I do find the intensity with which you post emojis very revealing about your state of mind. Further refinements could take into account emoji type as you I detect much greater anger, frustration and impotence in your emoji than your other emojis and experiment with different measures of intensity. Semantic and sentiment analysis could follow.* Ultimately, your input is welcome (though your original multiplication idea is plainly stupid) and I’m glad you’re taking such an interest in your own wellbeing. The fact that it’s your big day soon and you’ve slept on and returned to a conversation (time lapse between posts = another input for the model?**) and not just any conversation but this special conversation in particular suggests you’re not all there, so a metric like this could be of use. I honestly need to go now. *I’m joking ** I’m joking
  21. Cheers. So basically coincides with the winter break.
  22. How long is he out for?
  23. No worries. It was my mistake.
  24. And 10 emojis in 1 sentence (=10) is worse than than 10 emojis in 10 sentences (=1). In turn 10 emojis in 10 sentences (=1) is worse than 1 emoji in 100 sentences (=0.01), even if they both multiply to 100. Multiplying can be skewed by a large number of sentences and doesn’t capture the intensity with which you post your emojis which says something about your frantic, rattled state of mind. It’s clear you’ve needlessly embarrassed yourself Les. Not only did you pick a fight you didn’t need to on the pretence you thought you were being clever but you then compounded matters by coming back for seconds. You’re not very bright pal - I’d leave it at that. Focus on tomorrow if you can count that far ahead
  25. Oh ok. Yes I meant Cedric.
