The question would be how often has Cork played with Boruc, Shaw, Lovren, Fonte, Chambers/Clyne behind him? Going forward the team looks very stodgy and slow with Wanyama in the mix and we end up going long as he doesnt show for the ball enough and when he does his passing is slow and/or inaccurate.

I think we will lose Fonte ( 1 year left in June), Shaw (big offer), Cork ( 1 year left in June), and Lambert (one last pay day)and I have a suspicion MoPo as well. Osvaldo and Ramirez will also likely go …but I don’t give a toss about those two! So a major rebuilding process will need to occur. The only thing that may stop that is a takeover bid at which point there may be a little decision paralysis as the vendor tries to second guess what the purchaser wants+ management (suits not tracksuits….)gets bogged down in the due diligence process.

Wanyama doesn't suit the way we play. The centre backs either by bypass him purposely or he doesn't show for the ball in the first place. Hence we go longer. When he does get the ball and manage to control it the accuracy and/ or speed of the pass is lacking. If Man City are willing to pay the same or more for him then I would bite their hands off. Not for glass back Rodwell though £50000 a week for 6 games a season - no way.

yep that is the rumour doing the rounds....before the Sun printed this. IMHO the club is up for sale.......and NC is likley to head up one of the bidding entities. MoPo hanging around to see who the purchaser is.
