In fairness we were crap against Villa. A bit like the game v WBA earlier in the season when we couldn't break them down and moved the ball too slowly.
-
Corks premier league starts this season..... makes interesting reading Played 4 Won 4 Goals for 14 Goals Against 0 Goals scored 2
-
Play that team again and we will get murdered. What was Koeman thinking?
-
Koeman got this wrong will he change it now?
-
Surprised Koeman has risked Morgan both in terms of injury and four yellows. Especially v a very weak Villa.

Very complicated. My simpler back of a fag packet calc.... Average for 5th place over last 6/7 years 64 points, so say target of 65 points for 4th. 27 Games left we need 40 points.......which we could get with say 11 wins, 7 draws, 9 defeats. Highly doable especially so given Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, Everton ,Liverpool all being crap at the same time. Probably never happened to such a degree before suggesting 65 points is on the high side and our task therefore may be simpler.

Infamy, Infamy they've all got it infamy.......

You look at some of the players getting game time for Man U at the moment and perhaps we have more depth than we give ourselves credit for. Also the players don't look quite so knackered as a full press all the time is hard and gets harder as the season progresses as Spurs may now be finding out

Our squad is much stronger than last year. No Fox , Hoiveld, gazza to worry about. We also appear to have a plan B and C tactically with a little bit of squad rotation. We could do with a back up "hold the ball up " No 9 and a keeper ( or can we pull Boruc back on a moments notice? )

Cork goes bad karma, Jenga collapse. Monk facts, SaintBob juju man.

Your point is?

Wanyama was about the only one to get any change from circus freak Crouch in the air on Saturday....so should probably play.

Pochettino asks Levy to sign Jay Rodriguez

Difficult one given the nature of the injury. It is by no means certain he will come back firing on all cylinders. I would be surprised if Spurs would take him without a run of games behind him meaning the January transfer window would likely come to too soon. -
I think Shane Warne might be laughing at Rooney's dodgy Irish.....

Will this be the best transfer window for Saints ever?

Massive game of football jenga. Thankfully the structure still stands and appears to be stronger. -
One thing I noticed on Saturday....Tadic is a hard little sod with strength and not some flimsy winger. He can hold off a challenge and take a bad challenge when it comes.
-
Big, athletic number 9 who can play with his back to goal. Our biggest risk at present is Pelle getting injured. Other than that....a reserve keeper perhaps if Boruc has truly thrown his teddy. I doubt Cork will agree to go anywhere in January if his contract winds down to zero in June.

I think Stoke and Hughes are less horrible. They play much more football than they used to but when you have a circus freak up front then you are duty bound to loft a few up there to him. May be an idea to play Gardos as No.1 CB to go up for headers with Mr Crouch. Indeed 3 CBs ( for height at set pieces an to quieten Crouch) + wing backs v Stoke would work quite well if we were feeling adventurous. We seem to have some intelligent players who can play in different systems so just a thought. Tough game v a hardworking organised bunch who will be on their guard after last week......

Complete and utter big hairy ******s.

I don't think his two goals went backwards but I will check the video again.....

Problem is VW is bordering on world class without the ball but league 2 at best on the ball. In heavy traffic v Spurs he was getting caught in possession time and time again. Also, against a team sitting back ( like West Brom did) better to have Cork in as he moves the ball much more effectively and he will open up space.

Freemasons....hmmmm...most of them are likely to be social climbing coppers anyway... Not helpful. I would imagine your predecessor in the house had the same issue. If so this issue ( a dispute, nuisance, annoyance... as you will) should have been disclosed to you before you purchased the house. If not there has likely been a misrepresentation by seller to buyer.

Saints turned down a £6 million offer from Palace for Cork on the weekend before the window shut and have not offered a renewal since. I can't see the player will agree to being sold in January and Saints will struggle to renew/extend now after all this time ( and with a Bosman beckoning) so a nailed on Bosman in the Summer one would have thought- and good luck (££££)to him.

The working assumption here being Chambers agitated for a move rather than the club cashed in on a good offer . Well guess what chaps.............
