  1. The only real one doing the rounds today in UK & Denmark is Kasper Schmeichel on a free. Apparently battling with Arsenal & AC Milan. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/473194/Arsenal-eyeing-Kasper-Schmeichel-but-face-competition-from-AC-Milan-and-Southampton http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Arsenal-lining-Leicester-City-goalkeeper-Kasper/story-21035619-detail/story.html http://www.bt.dk/fodbold/storklubber-i-budkrig-om-eftertragtet-schmeichel (http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bt.dk%2Ffodbold%2Fstorklubber-i-budkrig-om-eftertragtet-schmeichel&edit-text=)
  2. Seems the statement fell on deaf ears with BT Sport. http://bcove.me/ltat84dq Brilliant from Poch though!
  3. Not at all surprised. All for giving him time etc but been a woeful season. Should've finished top 4 minimum. Ryan Giggs set to be caretaker until end of the season. http://dailym.ai/1r8hua0 http://mirr.im/1i7eGIX http://fw.to/Wlj2OQi Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Said mine for a while now. Marshall (GK), Holtby (AM), Borini (CF/WF). Add a top CB to the mix and we're on course for breaking that 'glass-ceiling'.
  5. According to the Sunday People. http://mirr.im/1tmGkoM Utter tosh article in my opinion as if I am correct, a player cannot sign a pro deal until 18 anyway so how can he be stalling? He has every right to assess his options but to say he is stalling on a deal with Saints is utter crap. Despite this, he seems to be rated as another 'next big thing'. I'll admit, I know nothing about him. Fill me in.
  6. Saints fans, There is a journalist looking to do a piece in the Daily Echo regarding Safe Standing in football stadiums and I have said I will spread the word. He is basically looking for a few Saints fans with opinions on the idea of Safe Standing to a do a very quick, short interview with their thoughts. I have been told it will consist of a short conversation about the idea. I know a few on here have strong opinions on this topic so hence why I have decided to post. If you are interested in taking part, get in touch with Rory McKeown at/on: rory.mckeown@dailyecho.co.uk or 02380424996 Much appreciated guys!
  7. Answers in bold
  8. Whether Jay was injured or not I would've gone for Borini this summer, however due to recent events this would now be the perfect signing i feel. Pacy, extremely versatile (left, right, middle) and can score a few. Would've been my Lambert competition but could come in and play Jay's role with absolute ease and probably chip in with 10 goals playing in our creative, attacking side. Definitely the sort of player that is at his best when playing around other good players so he doesn't feel the pressure of having to do it all by himself.
  9. Dare I say it but if fit, this could be Gaston's next chance to have a prolonged spell in the side. Boruc Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw Wanyama Schneiderlin Davis Ramirez Lallana Lambert
  10. According to Jay's Dad on Twitter, he is doing fine and in less pain than at the time of the incident. Gonna be a long recovery I feel. 4-6months minimum. Gutted for him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Would make an incredible amount of sense. Know's how to run a football club and would be solely left to deal on the football front with MP.
  12. Slight change. That would be my team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Leather seated stadium?
  14. I would drop him. Either play Gaston in a false 9 or play him out wide in the 4-2-3-1 and play Jay Rod through the middle. Lambert has been off form for a LONG time now. His performances have gone downhill big style in my opinion.
  15. Not surprised. It looked to be heavily strapped on Saturday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. What do we make of this then? Load of ******** because it is 'bad' news? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/mauricio-pochettinos-southampton-future-still-3196822?
  17. Yet were still 8th in it as things stand. Goes to show it isn't just us struggling for consistency. Everyone is beating everyone.
  18. Seems they've sorted Sportsnet World on Offsidestreams by moving it to a bigger, larger host. Restarted XBMC and been a consistent, solid 5 mins so far. Missed the middle part of this half.
  19. OffsideStreams are no longer taking subs. You need to sign up to the sister site streamtvbox.com. Exactly same as offsidestreams just £10.99 p/m. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. We are live on OffsideStreams today on Sportsnet World HD and NBC ExtraTime 2 for anyone interested.
  21. Look, we signed Osvaldo. A 20 goal a season striker across Italy / Spain. Why won't we do the same again, just this time not spend it on a nutcase and instead an actual footballer. Stop being so pedantic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. And where in my post did I say get a proven PREMIER LEAGUE striker? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. In my opinion, the biggest target for the summer window is getting in a proven striker - simple as. We create more than enough chances as a side, even when not at full strength, but we just struggle to put the ball in the net, especially when well on top during the game. The only time we've done that this season, to my knowledge is the Cardiff away game. Apart from that, too many games have ended with numerous people saying "what if..." The difference a 20+ goal a season striker would make... Oh, and of course, keep our best players
  24. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2557906/England-Luke-future-Shaw-set-place-Roys-squad-against-Denmark-spell-end-Cole.html http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/englands-world-cup-2014-ashley-3138975? Seems pretty much nailed on. Best of luck to the lad! Just hope he doesn't pick up an injury again...
