Juric will have been fully aware we are likely to be relegated. I’m guessing he won’t be that bothered about our results but will want to start improvement. Our defence is better and most important our intent is better a couple of times today he threw a wobbler when a player took a “ safe “ option and passed back . He will be observing I’m no tactition but I noticed Tall Paul can take two opposition players out of the game giving us space. We didn’t know how to use it . our players have had 18 months of brainwashing from Russball some are adapting well some are looking incapable of changing AA for example . Apparently there’s going to be a few in and outs in January and definitely in the summer. Juric is aggressive but also pragmatic. He’s turned teams around in Italy and is used to working on a small budget . It was clear he has watched a lot of English football . he knows what he’s getting into and I’m sure SR will have made him aware of available budget the lot. Yep this is a lot of guesswork but I reckon Juric believes English football will suit him. Promotion next season but better prepared. Look at the points of the bottom half of the PL the teamss are poor . I reckon once we are better organised we could have done Palace easily . We’ve lost a lot of games but most by fine margins it wouldn’t have taken that much to turn those games. We’ve already got some good players Archer being a good example but he’s not been utilized properly surely Juric is capable of turning him around. When RM got his new contract it gave him a lot a say in the transfers. I guess some were chosen for thier suitability for Russball. Juric has had two games but big picture they weren’t disasters realistically we aren’t staying up . I’m going to be looking at the attitude and method we are playing for let’s say the last 12 games.

It’s Jurics first game we were never staying up. Everyone has been saying how much we’ve improved . I’ve just got back from work it was a fuckin pleasure reading the comments about the first half. Clearly the team have got to toughen up and so do a few on this forum.

Yes this is me saying this. I reckon it was a good performance it’s going to be difficult for some players. They’ve literally been brainwashed to play Russball . I bet there was more than one time a player was thinking shit I shouldn’t be doing this then realising it’s OK. In some ways it could be seen as amusing but that moment of hesitation could make all the difference. I think Juric is an inspired selection but he’s going to need some time to really turn this teams mentality around and may the lord forgive me for saying this SR had better have said they are prepared to back him financially. Sure they’ve spent some money but let’s face it we are going down and probably in danger of losing our better players . They knew what they were getting and he had no intention of changing the way we play. That suggests to me it’s going to take a lot before they sack him. FWIW I’m conflicted a couple of wins would obviously change things and I can’t think of a decent replacement .
