Hammond seemed to have played bloody well but unless we dont use the wings lambert isnt gonna be scoring the goals we need him to score, AP needs to sort out his tactics, he is still playing 2 midfielders out of possition and ignoring true wingers.

lallana isnt a winger this is the biggest problem, i would drop him and put in a true winger...either buy one or look in the reserves but do not play lallana. Rest of the team is what id play though.

First of all AP needs to sort out his tactics out, use the wings put crosses into the box and we'll get goals there is no daught in that. He needs to stop playing lallana (sad to say) he isnt a winger and i really cant see him fitting into a 442 formation. Ok looks like we got Hammond for sat to replace the useless wotton but we really need a new right mid with pace and able to beat defenders. Down the left he should play mills or holmes, even goborn wouldnt be a bad idea with his pace. He should also play a passing game, we played the passing game ok last season but because we didnt use the wings we didnt get the chances, too many ppl tell me we play too many long balls, this really doesnt suit us. It's all simple football which i dont understand he isnt doing...oh and 2 new CB's would be nice!

i thought that was strange also when i saw it, Morgan is a great player but he needs someone other than wotton beside him or it just wont work with him being in the side. I would of tried Gillet in the CM today as they worked great together last season before he got injured. As a whole we need a CB badly and a true winger that can beat defenders and put crosses in for lambert. Lallana probably isnt the best winger for a start, gobern, mills and holmes would be alot better choice on the left.

Charlton and millwall top 2 i think we'll finish just short of the play offs not sure why ppl are going for leeds, they not bought in alot of talent and a leeds supporter friend said he'll be very happy even if they reached the playoffs this year.

You really think most of them managers A: would come here and B: stay at the club and dont **** off as soon as a team from a higher division wants them? You need someone who is willing to stay around for at least a few years to build there own team, if they fail then so be it, you will not get miracle results straight away. An old player would be best id say beacuse they tend to be alot more loyal to clubs so i would have to say Paul Tisdale. Perry can play left back, he played there at spurs while they had injuries and did ok, although you might not get him bombing down the wing putting in crosses. Id try that and have cork in the middle with killer and maybe surman can then play in midfield where he belongs.

Reading didnt want to spend 2.5m on surman, they offered 1.25m i think so they got someone else instead.

Dont we now have a 2 week rest? if so gamsi wont be missing for that many games. I for one was stumped with the signing of Pullis, he wasnt all that good and some of our younsters are better so i agree with you. I though will sell john, skacel, euell and bwp, and yes i said john. Unless im mistaken, i dont think we have scored a goal while he has been on the pitch with this new style of play this season and that includes the pre season (although i might of missed a few games) We have a great player in that spurs youngster and he will score goals for us and we might as well make all use out of him before he goes back. Also we should play Cork, he was great against brum last tuesday. There is no point having these top youngsters on loan if we dont use them, let them play! A top left full back would be ideal, but i cant see where we could possibly get some money from unless we sell surman which i dont want to see.

i agree that cork should of played from the start, infact he should of just kept the same team that he played on tuesday.
