why? we dont need him. Harding played very well against Barnsley i've been told so you cant drop him.... yet, you cant also drop your best striker unless he has a knock, if i was to play this formation id drop lambert on form but you'll know it will be a 442. I still think De Ridder should be starting instead of Gully on the right, Gully isnt a right midfielder.

You what? I've been saying this all last season, give him a chance and he'll do well and yesterday, apart from one little mistake he did very well. I think Jaidi and Seabourne will play cup games and if Gorkss does come to us i think you'll see a rotation between him and Martin to give martin the experiance he needs.

Our motivation was going when Morgan got injured so who ever came in for morgan just fitted in straight away, the thing was we might of won while he was injured but some of those games were very messy we missed his creativity. Yes Hammond is our captain and yes he did have a good end to the season but he is no where near as good as Cork or Morgan. Dont forget we will be up against alot better players this season, Hammond along with Lambert and maybe a few others might struggle and now we have The Riddler, a very good player from what we all saw against WBA that should be playing every week. Yes its a headache for us and NA but if we want to get promoted we must play our best players. Just a little thought that came to me, Morgan has 1 year left on his contract, who would you rather see playing for us in the prem...Morgan or Hammond? i know who id rather have.

He can be a sub, he would also fit in well anywhere along the front line, as i said we have too many good midfielders

You cant just walk into any PL club with the experiance that he has and expect to be playing first team footy straight away, so for him to say he wants to join a top 4 team and expect that he's in dream land....First team football is alot better for you than sitting in the reserves for a few seasons playing in empty grounds, we can offer the first team footy, great training facilities (probably in the top 3 in the country) and then a possible big money deal in a few seasons. NC has a 5 year plan to become a regular european cup club and if we do have the money ppl think we do than i think NC will make this happen. So if he went this season by the time he gets into a regular first team place in any of those clubs he wants to join, we'd probably be what he wants...a top european club.

id snap him up for 250k be good for cover and playing them crap cup matches to rest key players. Also we could play oxo upfront and Antonio on the right that solves the pace upfront problem and still have a pacey midfielder/winger.

Morgan for me is class, easily better than hammond and cork is a better version of hammond does all the same things but better but since he is captain ( i think fonte should be ) he'll be in the team so this is formation has our 3 best midfielders in it and AL in a more attacking role which is his best role.

good signing spiderman and cork in the centre imo, fonte to be made captain that would be good but i think hammond will remain in the first team i wouldnt mind spiderman maybe playing right side, i think he played once or twice there last season and played ok that would make way for oxo to play as a striker to give us that much needed pace, that could work.

we should follow Man utd and Norwich, they are getting in players so they can train and go on pre-season tour so they blend in quicker, saints problem in the past we go on tour then we panic buy.

All the teams tbh are a threat, football is a funny ole game

scott sinclair hated it in the reserves at chelsea then decided he needs 1st team footy, now look at him, a very good player getting regular football. Theo took ages to get a prem start and still isnt a regular in the 1st team, why oh why ppl want to go straight into the prem is beyond me, first team football is vital when your young and there is noway he will get it right away. Stay at Saints lad and you'll improve!

I predicted a draw but with the way we're playing i think we will lose, all these injuries late into the season is screwing us up. I'll be a very happy man though if we get anything out of it.
