Yup should get Sharp on and lambo off no point keeping players on who have a little injury when we're winning. Be good to see if Lee and Sharp do well together just in case.
-
Punch will do good for us, 2-0 up watford has not scored that many since Sordell left them we should be ok and i hope Lallana gets better before next game.
-
If we keep the same midfield and play sharp for 45 and lee for 45 i'll say we'll win it was good tactics for once by NA last weekend and im sure it would work today since Lee is unknown. Would like to see De Ridder on the bench instead of DC, SDR can play midfield or upfront and DC is only a striker and it's best to have more options, plus Lee is a better option upfront than DC, his pace is very handy.
-
Shaun Goater must be a winner?
-
If we keep doing what we did on saturday, playing sharp for 45 then lee for 45 and we keep winning, it's the best 1.75 million we ever spent.

Oh dear cause of our away form i tried that predictor league and had us to finish 4th If we beat Leeds away i'll change my predictions.
-
I really hope we can keep this team going now, got no room for misfits who are off form, Lee sounding good as always, Lallana running the show, Cork + Morgan doing alot better now with Chappers doing the hard work and punch will always give something when he comes on, looking all very very good.
-
should save chappers legs and get punch on, playing so much better with chappers instead of Guly so lets not burn chappers out
-
Time for Lee to come on, lets see if they can handle his pace
-
I still don't like Guly he has played off form far too long now, a good game against a poor Burnley side don't make him worth a game since we have good options now and they will probably pack the midfield and Guly isnt that type of player to get stuck in. 2 formations spring to mind, keep the diamond and pray they dont play down the wings or match their 5 in midfield. ---------------------Davis--------------- Stephens/Richardson-- Fonte-- Jos---- Fox ----------------------Cork---------------- --------Hammond--------------Punch------ ---------------------Lallana--------------- ---------------Sharp--------Lambo-------- or something i really like -------------------Davis---------------- Richardson/Stephens---fonte--Jos----Fox -------------------Cork----------------- --------Chappers-----------Punch------- ------Lallana----------------Sharp/Lee--- ------------------Lambo-----------------

He should of started Punch instead of Guly for this one imo.
-
we need to pack the midfield.....Brighton did it too us when we went down to 10 men, it worked so so well
-
Hmm NA got the midfield wrong for this one i think, Guly away from home in the cold i dont think so, Punch should of started and De Ridder on the bench instead of Guly for this one. We need bite away from home and Guly does not give it.
-
When all is fit i don't think he should start Chappers, Punch, Cork and Lallana should be midfield and that midfield should be used in all away games from now, Guly's away form is very very poor. Home games i would play Guly now and again changing from Morgan or Hammond. But yes he did ok yesterday but not great.
-
He probably has been our best player Deserves a place on the bench at least, DC and Guly have both been miles off form but get starting place and bench place. If we lose NA really needs to answer some serious questions about his strange selections.
-
You dont pick someone from what they did ages ago otherwise we might as well ask MLT to come back and help us, it's all about form, DC was in great form at the start of the season but now has lost it, same as Guly again has lost it, you choose who's in form and drop the ones who ain't and both DC and Guly does not deserve a place even on the bench.
-
Not if the midfield does not provide them with the chances. In recent games our strikers have not cut it upfront due to the lack of service, millwall game was better but our defence let us down. Today id go foe something different although im not sure if it suits sharp. -------------------Davis------------------- Richardson---Fonte---Martin/Jos-----Harding --------------------Cork------------------- ------------Morgan------Puncheon--------- -----Lallana-------------------Sharp/Lee--- -------------------Lambo------------------ Subs: Bart, Jos/Martin, Hammond Sharp/Lee, De Ridder As i said im not sure if Sharp is that type of player to help out the midfield when needed but we do have a good team for this type of formation, gives us width when needed and players in the box when attacking and packing the midfield should help us win that battle and if you win the midfield battle you win the game most of the time anyway.

We were found out back in November and NA who everyone trusts, has not seen this. The only games we have won in the last few months were against 10 men and players have under performed for months but still get into the team. Most managers would look at the opposition before the game and choose tactics and team to counteract them, im afraid that NA seems to stick to the same game plan whoever we play and players who have performed in the past not on current form. I personally think he's lost the plot altogether, his substitutes have been strange, an attacker to replace a midfielder when Lambert was sent off even when we were losing the midfield battle and the other night an attacker on for the impressive De Ridder when we were 2-1 up, he should of replaced SDR for another midfielder if he wanted to rest SDR. The list continues.... I loved him for getting us here but he really needs to get his act together, stop his big headed talk and his excuses and just sort out this mess, if it means we stop playing fancy football so be it, id prefer to win any game playing ugly than lose playing pretty football.

Saints 2 - 3 Millwall - Post Match Reaction
DrunkenSaint replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
Bad for moral but i really didnt want to go through. NA really needs to ask himself a few things before saturday what the hell has gone wrong since November...we had a good defence, was scoring goals, playing nice football and was in a really good position for promotion now it's all a mess, can't even beat a crap Millwall side. We need to go back to basics or we're in deep trouble if this carries on. -
----------------Bart--------------- Richardson--Fonte--Martin--Harding -------------Hammond------------ ------Chaplow--------De Ridder---- --------------Reeves-------------- --------Lambert-----Lee----------- Bench: Davis, Butterfield, Morgan, Barney, Guly, Hoskins, JWP Really would like to see Lambo and Lee together but i reckon it wont happen tonight.
-
FFS NA what the hell are u playing at DC did F'all on Tuesday night, Guly is crap i would prefer Lee on the bench as he's determined and has the pace we miss so much.
-
He didnt bust a gut the other night knowing we had Lee on the bench (who did more in his 30mins than Connolly did in 80) and Sharp who couldn't be in the side. DC should not make the bench today, it should look like... Bart, Harding, Hammond/Morgan, Lee, Chappers/Guly/SDR or Falque. Sharp must start and Lee looks like he has a lot to give the team, if fit, Chappers and who ever does not start out of Deano & Morgan will always make the bench + DC has done very little recently.
-
It's not about if it can go ahead it's all about if it's safe for the fans to travel there and back which determines if games go ahead. Imo we would be better off calling it off, Chappers, Lee amd Sharp will all be settled down or fit for the rearranged game. They have also made it a Red Warning on the met and expect very heavy snow for the next 4+ hours.
-
It wont go ahead imo. too much snow is forecast for around that region and even we're gonna get hit, travelling is going to be crazy from tonight.
