  1. I assume 7,000 left is without opening the corners. Which means they have sold around 18-19,000? Assuming the capacity is around 25-26,000 with the corners shut. Which would still be quite impressive seeing as 24 hours ago we had only sold 16,000.
  2. Great atmosphere, reminded me why I love away games so much. Also, it was good to see Simon Gillett in the away end with us.
  3. :smt102 still, its cheaper than when we were int he premiership
  4. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11602 Saints have sold out their initial allocation of 1800 but another 400 tickets will be available to buy on the day, cash only.
  5. 3-4 of us getting the 3pm train from soton central to watford. dont worry griffo, we will stand and sing all game. hopefully be at least 1,500 of us there. looking forward to this now. I think sometime during that day the FA decide if we get a points deduction
  6. IMO fans leaving early shows they have given up on the team. Today that really wound me up, because if we give up on the team, we may well not have a team to support next season. For the record I was not one of those people who abused those leaving, or waved my season ticket, but I do understand why they did it.
  7. i think its best to order today, i think there'll be a huge walk up on the day.
  8. I will be behind the team as usual. No points deduction so we are still in the same position, we need to focus on staying up.
  9. Depart Watford Junction 22:04 22:40 22:44 23:20 23:40 Arrive Southampton Central 00:35 01:15 01:36 03:09 03:09
  10. Probabley still loads left. For the original date I think we sold our initial 1,000, requested another 1,300 and sold a couple of hundred of those. Out of those 2,300 tickets I think we'll bring just around 1,000.
  11. Even if they claimed they were trying and avoid admin? Sorry, I dont have a clue about this sort of thing, but could they not say that by selling assets they were doing all they could not to enter administration? E.g. we sold the likes of Andrew Davies and others within the last twelve months to try and avoid admin, but the administrators wouldn't claim him back. Again, sorry if its a stupid question, I just dont really understand the situation.
  12. What trains are people getting? Probably going to leave soton central around 15.00. I haven't been to a midweek game on the train before, is it still possible to do group save at this sort of time?
  13. It is on here: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/ although only ocassionally (about 1/6th of the time), the rest of the time they have adverts for: playing on the pitch, catering at easter, 'saints sporting dinner', BOGOF at the club shop, kids for a quid at the palace game... not exactly easy to find
  14. No, thats a good point. I was talking to some mates today, they were saying that the charlton match was a huge game and asked what i thought the attendance might be, I said I thought about 25,000 due to cheap tickets and they didnt have a clue about the prices. I told them £15 adult, £5 consessions and they seemed very interested. Like you say, the only way you can find those prices on the OS is by searching through the nws archive, and reading through an article called 'season ticket prices for next season', which i doubt many people, particularly non season ticket holders will bother looking at
  15. We only need to improve our GD by 2 and we would have a better goal differance than plymouth, hardly a big turn around.
  16. Who's still going to this then? Four of us getting the 15.08 arriving 17.41. Which pub is everyone going to?
  17. Exactly, we are in a relegation scrap, yet the team looked like they did didn't care and as if there was nothing to play for.
  18. thanks for that, looks much quicker and a fair bit cheaper!
  19. Just looked on national rail, for train times and prices. I was thinking of booking in advance, thinking tickets would be cheap. Earliest train of the day: Depart Soton Central 06.55, arrive Nottingham 12.18: £82.50 Journey time 5.23hrs. Looks like there's loads of engineering works over that weekend.
  20. Looks like a great offer, bought tickets for 5 of my mates who dont usually go. Anyone got any idea how many have been sold for the match, and how many of those were st holders taking up this offer?
  21. 18,800
  22. What are the words to it?
  23. Those teams are doing well in the league, but having played our best football against teams around the top of the table I think we might do ok. Birmingham: lost 2-1 but played well, beat them in the cup Preston: Beat them twice Reading: A win and a draw Wolves: Lost 2-1 but played well, could have won if Euell hadn't been (wrongly) sent off
  24. I can confirm this information is 100% correct. However obviously I can not reveal my source.
  25. 5-1 win!!
