    Pelle?

It's nothing to do with our style of play. He just looks like a man completely drained of confidence when he's played recently. Nothing wrong technically, he's just been making the wrong decisions at crucial times. Desperate to impress and always working his socks off... Hopefully he can can carry this bit off form back.
  2. Agreed. They'll leave it a few weeks and then use a low profile away game like Hull to make a point that we've not influenced them in the slightest.
  3. Clip of the interview on Sky Sports... http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/8970882/pardew-proud-of-lambert
  4. Isn't Wigans goal difference irrelevant? Our GD would still be better than Villas.
  5. I notice the BBC article puts todays attendance at 24,108 in a stadium that holds 24,200. Looked like a few more empty seats than that to me!
  6. Yep, exactly the same situation. Went for a pint when their 3rd went in and ended up having a very extended half time pint or three before showing my face mid way through the second half. And then leaving soon afterwards.
  7. Colder than brum last season? Couldn't believe that game went ahead... one of the dullest matches I've ever watched.
  8. Swansea, think that was the season we went down. 3-0, pathetic performance, no atmosphere in the away end and kept in that cage outside the away end. Also seem to recall a Carling Cup 2-0 loss to a league 2 Notts County on a miserable Tuesday night.
  9. The problem is after 120 players legs have usually gone completely. Reducing the number of players etc opens up the game but if players are physically shattered, which they usually are, you are stuck with the problem that no one will score. It doesn't always reward the team that have played best throughout the game but penalties aren't meaningless. It is a huge test of mental toughness and is a great spectacle (if your nerves can take it).
  10. Fonte must have played in England for more than 3 years? Joined Palace in 2007?
  11. Hadn't realised Hodgson be picking teams based on the outcome of polls on the Telegraph website. Have done my bit and voted, fingers crossed we can get enough votes.
  12. 2005 we were at home to Utd. 2009 we were away at Forest on the last day.
  13. Southampton, they are such a boring team. Strive for nothing. On the other hand, Plymouth Argyle, They have there up's and down's but at least it would be fun to be part of the Green Army!
  14. Considering we've only managed 4 points from our last 4 games, 6/7 points from our next 3 is starting to look like a big ask.
  15. Is it considered a derby whenever 2 London clubs play each other?
