Coventry an average at best championship team have taken them to a replay then extra time, no doubt knackering the pompey team for saturday. On top of that Pompey now have an additional cup game or two to play. I still think there going down and i can only see this cup run helping to put nails in their coffin! Financial gate receipts help for the extra cup games, but considering the **** poor turn out for both games i don' think they have gained alot from that.

Why would it be such a surprise? We just signed one of Palace's best players and heavily linked with another and they are a better side than Doncaster on paper! Don't confuse gloating with banter, Nineteen ? I accept that we have both on here though ! For me, it is not only good to have a laugh at their expense (as they have done with us!) but gives us some respite from our own recent problems ! I'd love them to be relegated and us to come up (this year or next!) so that we can beat them yet again but would hate them to be gone forever (which won't happen anyway!). FWIW I think that the few Skates who visit this site are rational and reasonable people and I feel that they are perfectly capable of looking after themselves ! The Scotland team had no clue what their tactics and gameplan was in the first half. It was so typical of a Burley side. No pressure on the ball, midfield miles away from the strikers etc.... He hasn't changed and without Mcfadden on wednesday i can't see how he is going to master a win of the Dutch.
