Whatever your views of Nick Illingsworth, and many have a predjudice against him for some reason, he does know more than the average fan. This quote from Nick is concerning: "those that say its our club and not lowes wont know what hit them, personally I wouldd rather weather out the storm, but I fear thats not possible with the current level of support we are getting (this isnt a dig at anyone its a fact)"

If he didn't play he's classed as a non runner and you get your money back.

I think you're right U and A. As far as i'm concerned the country has been going down hill for some time now with the tax burden always going up in %age terms and food and fuel prices sky rocketing for over 12 months. We might only just be officially in recession, but in reality the recession for families accross Britian has been going on for some time. You are right when you state it's not just the ticket price that affects attendance. In fact speaking personally the ticket price only accounts for 20-30% of the day out. Beer, fags, train ticket/petrol, a few quid for the fruitie, a bet at half time, a burger, a pie, dropping £20 out your pocket etc etc are all part of the overall cost of supporting the club. Football is a luxury in the good times. Not just the economically good times, but when the team is winning. At present the club is hit with a double whammy of reduced customer spending power and an inferior product to sell. Reducing prices will make no differece at all IMO.

Me thinks he'd been on the single malts again.

There's always the 2012 para olympic football team.
-
As the statistics were taken from a site renowned as a refuge for "Lowe Luvvies" it wouldn't suprise me.
-
Not enough attention doing it by pm.

Nah, that's all we can do. We can do what the **** we like. We are "customers" to coin Lowes description. We can go when we like and cheer and boo when we like. I don't like Lowe and Wilde coming back so i'm supposed to just carry on going and get behind their set up? Nah, it doesn't work like that with me - not anymore. There's a breaking point for everyone when you say enoughs enough. It's called having principles. If my local gets a landlord who i thinks a complete **** i stop drinking in that pub - it's exactly the same with SFC as far as i'm concerned. So you and all the other super fans can wind your necks in. I'll support (or not support) the club as i see fit and while Lowe and Wilde remain that is not a lot.

******!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 up front now and we've pulled 1 back. Game on...
-
That's what i like about you Up and Away. You always get your numbers right. In fact i think you could be the next carol vorderman.
-
Luker should know all about that. It was his airbrained pre-registration for away games idea that lost us many ST holders in the first place.
-
2 pints. or 1 packet of fags. or 1 years full TSW membership. I think i'll stick to 3 posts a day.
-
TSW have reproduced the fixtures: Fixtures reproduced under licence from Football DataCo It states in the small print.

If you want a pro Lowe type columnist go for a poster called stthrobber (used to write for S4E til Keith sacked him). At least his articles won't make this site a laughing stock like Scoobies would.
-
A decade of Rupert Lowe has killed the spirit our club once had.
-
A Donny fan said to me after the game "how much did you pay the referee?" Many a true word is said in jest...
-
If he's anything like Wilde he'll have posted on a thread about him e.g i think MW drives the DB9 posted by er Mike Wilde. My moneys on Saint Michael.
-
What is it with Saints and weirdos? Helpmerhonda, LLS, now Johnny Fulthorpe.
-
Our defence was fantastic. The only time we got pushed back deep was after the 2nd penalty miss and that was only for about 2 minutes.
-
I hate Lowe and Wilde with a passion yet i went yesterday and enjoyed the win.
-
A spades a spade and yesterdays game was dull to say the least. Did you go or are you basing your opinion on the radio commentary?
-
I disagree. The best way of supporting the club right now is to see off Lowe and Wilde and the best way of achieving this is depriving the club of money. I'm adament i won't spend a penny at SFC until they are gone for this reason. Lowe was smug enough to refer to fans as lunatics and clingons when SKY paid the bills, now it's the same fans he looks down his nose at that he needs to protect his investment. Now is not the time to give Lowe and Wilde a lifeline - now is the time to finnish them off for good.

We'll lose.
