I am Scottish but have an English accent (went to school in England) but have never suffered any abuse like this, maybe it was your attitude that they didn't like. On the other side of the coin is that I have received abuse in England whilst wearing my Scotland shirt, but I just ignored it as being dimwits who will pick up on anything different about people to get a rise out of them and have an excuse to beat them up. There are people like that in every country.

Yes, now the realisation that I never really got rid of Burley is becoming apparent, as it probably is for all Scottish Saints. 10 minutes into our world cup campaign and we are likely out already. Wow, his buddies just cooly walk up to him and pick up his shoes (or whatever it was he picked up and threw to one side). One kid walks up to the railings, has a look, "hmmm nothing to see here" and just walks away. The only ones who seemed to react were the bus driver who stops and the runs back to the kid and the person who ran across the road from the other side. I have to ask thought....WTF was the kid trying to do in the first place? Crazy stuff there.
