Pretty funny. Dalek had his 39 points thing on a clipboard and copied and pasted it into about 5 different threads. Even after it was explained time and time again that the likelihood of ALL the games going against us was 1000/1. There's one thing getting a bit nervous about relegation when it looks like it is so close, but another thing to spam the board for 3 weeks every single day.

This. You could enjoy the lead up to the 3pm kickoff even if your team wasn't playing and then pick a team for the match safe in the knowledge that the season was done and dusted and injuries/suspensions etc would not effect the plight of your own club. Used to be a friends and family occasion like the superbowl over here where you all get together and cheer on a team just for fun. Now I barely notice when it is and it if I do it usually turns out to be a rather drab affair.

With my mind elsewhere (Ottawa Senators playoff run) I have taken a few days break from here. Come back and it's the same 2 or 3 posters trolling. Pathetic really.

All points DO count the same, but surely if we had taken 3 off Reading and zero against Coventry we would gave won the league with the same points total that we ended up with to get 2nd in the end...

Maybe you could use the time away to figure out your strategy for next season. So far we have had 17th place, yo-yo strategy, and definitely going down on 39 points. You, MrX, Turkish, Glasgow Saint and Barry Sanchez have utterly ruined this board with your constant spamming to get a rise out of decent posters. Good response from Saints since the goal...

It's something the body does when you lose a limb like that, it goes into shock and the arteries clamp themselves shut to prevent grievous blood loss. They still have to get him ASAP as the body can't do this indefinitely and when the arteries dilate again he would bleed profusely. By that time though you'd hope he was in the care of a hospital.

Then let us explain it again for you and the thicky triplets. The statistical probability of 6 teams passing us with 5 games to go is virtually zero. Because some of the final games involve teams below us playing each other, it makes it impossible for all those teams to "win out" the season. Look how difficult it was to climb the table when we were behind. Relax Dalek, go play with your yoyo or something...
