You said it is quite clear the strong start to the season will not materialise (written as fact). You were asked why, and you replied you had an "instinct". Can you see how someone would find that laughable?

You do write some rubbish some times - the bolded bits are classics. The lightning quick start will NOT materialise because you have... instinct? Come on man! And you were only telling us two weeks ago how you'd be proved right about our right back situation just like Burley and the centre backs.

Dickson to replace Harding, Puncheon to fill the right wing, hopefully we'll sign Stock to come in for Hammond, Barnard in for Connolly who will be our striker from the bench and perhaps a new CB in for Jaidi, or there's a chance for Martin and Seaborne to stake a claim.

Complete rubbish. Nobody says we don't need signings. People are saying that there is a lot of time to go until the first game. We need to negotiate with clubs over fees, then negotiate with the players. That takes time. We only signed Dickson early because we didn't have to deal with Brentford. Players of the calibre we will be looking at are unlikely to be free agents.

Why would we have signed players yet? The players we are going to be looking at aren't going to be released by clubs, we are going to have to negotiate fees with clubs - we're in a position to buy the best we can get. That's rarely concluded by 1st July. We've only signed Dickson so early because he didn't renew his contract and we were able to skip past the negotiations with Brentford. I'd say we only need to sign a right back, a central midfielder and a replacement for Papa and Antonio, or sign one of them of course, anyway.

I liked the darker background. You say it was outdated but I think it's more a case of everyone else has bright backgrounds so we should. I enjoyed coming to the site with the old layout but now it's not unique anymore. Still, it's only a forum.
