  2. He'll sign this week.
  3. ---------------------Davis Clyne-------New CB---------Hooiveld----------Fox Guly--------Morgan-----------Davis----------Lallana --------------------Lambert -------------------Rodriguez New GK Richardson Fonte Cork Hammond New Forward Sharp That leaves out anymore new signings and Chambers, Chaplow, De Ridder, Ward-Prowse, Shaw, Seaborne, Stephens and the injured Lee not even in the squad. Jheeeze. Not to mention Puncheon, Barnard, Butterfield, Dickson, Forte and Harding
  4. Adkins made a point about targetting Clyne when attacking the Palace defence in his post match interview so I doubt we will be signing him.
  5. If nobody uses the headline, "Saint Hat-tricks day" then I will be most disappointed.
  6. Oh you just can't get it more right than that.
  7. He was talking about Richardson. Don't let that get in the way of your prejudice.
  8. Adkins disagreed with you. Morgan was on the bench for a lot of the beginning of the season.
  9. Get off your high horse. He should have scored.
  10. Pourquoi toujours à moi?

    Sharp fee

Certainly wasn't your original point. You claimed we could have paid more than the clause and that Leicester's interest could have bumped up the price, which is wrong.

    Sharp fee

Why would a club pay more than a release clause? If we bid 1.8m Doncaster had to accept it, regardless of competititon from other clubs. Why pay more??
  13. .............................Davis Richardson.......Fonte........Hooiveld.........Fox .............................Cork ..............Chaplow..............Puncheon ...........................Lallana ...................Sharp.........Lambert Subs: Martin, Hammond, Morgan, Guly, Lee A fantasy sort of team! Bart, Jaidi, Harding, Falque, Connolly, Barnard not even in the squad. It's actually impossible...
  14. out of interest here's the breakdown for the prinicipal protagonists: KD 2340 minutes FR 2120 " RC 954 " JC 2421 " DH 1955 " MS 2049 " JH 2110 " JF 2049 " SDR 941 " AL 2176 " RL 2255 " DC 1282 " DF 2074 " GDP 2240 " so yes Guly and Cork have played a lot but so have plenty of others, pity we can't go reserve team for this one really. That's interesting. They have played a lot and they have also played the most recently out of those who are at the top end of the amount of minutes played. All the others in the 2000s have had a rest recently through suspension and injury (bar Fox). I'd say there's a case to rest Guly and Cork.
  15. Rest Guly and Cork. They've played a lot of minutes this season. Davis Frazer - Martin - Fonte - Fox SDR - Hammond - Morgan - Puncheon Lambert - Connolly Bart, Harding, Stephens, Shaw, JWP, Reeves, Lee Assuming Hooiveld, Jaidi, Butterfield, Chaplow, Barnard and Lallana are all out. Could do with Fonte being fit. Cork isn't a CB.
  16. Harsh, Brentford are 6th. I backed them at 20/1 before the season started to win League 1 but their home form hasn't been good enough.
  17. Someone picking up a wage at Man City is different to basically any other club. Nobody in their right mind would pass up £4.7m to do nothing. It doesn't stop him going out on loan though...
  18. Haha, ridiculous comparison.
  19. That's modern football for you...
  20. I've made three posts in the last month, thanks. Perhaps you should try being so sparse, this place may benefit.
  21. Boring.
  22. Needs to be another eight pages before that can happen!
  23. I do think we are weak at the back and have been since we went down to League 1. I keep reading Seaborne was excellent yesterday - he was nothing better than OK. No way would I want him to start alongside Fonte regularly in the CCC. We are also weak at full back. Butterfield can cross a ball and Harding can charge forward but defensively they will get found out this season. It is this why I think we will finish mid-table and not in the playoffs. Against what is a very, very ordinary Yeovil attack, we managed to look like we were under pressure and looked shaky.
