So: - PLC put into admin - Saints avoid points deduction - Mark Wotte keeps us up - PLC have until the summer to find a buyer - A consortium full of rich, ambitious, local businessmen buy the club - Appoint a British manager with financial backing - We get promoted in May 2010 CAN'T WAIT
-
The guy on Sky News also just said we won't get points deducted
-
Everyone in the football world would be absolutely gobsmacked that a team only 3 points away from safety gave up and admitted defeat. Looking from the outside in, the decision would look ridiculous. It just goes to show the defeatist and negative mentality of certain fans that makes them believe it would be viable for the club. We beat Charlton and it's on!!!

I think after February 10 yellow cards is like picking up 5 so it's only a 1 match suspension
-
And also is McGoldrick playing in midfield going to work away from home?
-
If we had a decent right back I would probably put James in the centre right position if Lallana's injured. But we haven't...
-
I'd say taking off an injured player is a good move.
-
Wow, we play Saga and Euell up front, just like most of us have been asking for and we score 2 in 30 first half minutes at home. We'd all make fantastic managers.

Things the commentators have NOT said about Saints this season
JibMcdo replied to Big Ron fan's topic in The Saints
Arturo Lupoli has been a massive hit with the Saints fan as they notch their second home win of the campaign. -
Nice adding of the "to start with" there. Who else is going to Hungary then?
-
Stanley, you are ignoring Minsk's comment about Saga not being allowed to move! I hope he hasn't ****ed on your bonfire a little.
-
Forest have a younger team with more experience.
-
If we keep Morgan Schneiderlin fit, we stay up.
-
Just re-read that team I posted above and that would surely be the shortest team to have ever played professional football.

Fantastic result and we all know we are capable of that kind of performance. It has only come 4 or 5 times this season which has been the problem. JP is still learning and lets hope he has learnt a lesson from today. When I saw the team today I was confident. It's ok to play youngsters, but they need the experience first. Cork, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Robertson, McGoldrick are all youngsters who have played in the first team here or elsewhere. Perhaps are weak link is James? He would go in the category of Lancashire, Gobern, White, Paterson, Mills and Thomson who are too raw and haven't got the experience to be able to perform consistently. Let them train, bring them off the bench and let them get that vital game time before sticking them in the first team. JP needs to play the same team now against Plymouth and Charlton and see if we can pick up 9 points from 9. If we do, we are making progress. If not, we know once and for all we're in a relegation battle.

Saints v Bristol City first half and Half time chat
JibMcdo replied to ExSt Peter Saint's topic in The Saints
Davis playing well. McGoldrick looking bright. We always look out-numbered when opposition attacks - everytime I have seen us this season. Wingers haven't been tracking back enough in the 4-2-3-1 formation. -
