Can anyone pl remind me details of the failed SISU bid a few years ago Talking to some Coventry based mates Apparently SISU are despised up there as the club is reportedly losing £500k a month. Ken Dulieu (who was here for a while) apparently has turned up at training with a momogrammed training top (and labradors in tow) to provide 'advice' Unless ownership/finances this can be sorted quickly the spectre of admin and 10 points deduction is a possibility

Company is CP Plus who have a PO Box address in Borehamwood Incidentally they state they 'Operate in accordance with the BPA's code of practice (which I think requires a 'proper' address) but doesnt seem to be a member of the BPA The photo supplied shows me clearly entering the east bound side There is a very grainy shot 4 hrs 20 mins later just showing a set of headlights. Where this was taken from is unclear. What happened was I drove down thro the entrance originally and straight onto the M27. My wife drove down later in the evening. I guess that journey may have been captured on the exit camera but they have ignored the first one. As advised i shall ignore but it puts into question using the slip roads as i thoiught the cameras were inactive

I occasionally use the slip road to pop down to Rownhams sevices to buy odds and ends in the shop out of hours Never stay more than 10 mins but have received a parking fine indicating I had stayed over 4 hours. Anyone else had a problem there?

I went by special train for the 63 semi. As a youngster the sight of thousands of Saints fans congregating around the Central Station waiting for several special trains gave me a real buzz Our tickets were in the Man Utd end. No problems at all and again it was stirring stuff to see all the Saints fans in the Holte end (it may have been uncovered then)

Those of us of a certain age fondly remember George and we were only talking about his exploits last night I was only a school boy when he signed (at the same time as Stuart Williams and Dave Burnside) and my Dad moaned about Ted Bates recruiting that 'Dirty B' from Plymouth. He would never have lasted 5 mins on the field of play today but was a great attraction to us Saints fans. My two favourites recollections were having a ruck with Norman Deeley of Wolves (who was about 5'5" compared to George at 6'1") and scaring the life out of Peter Grummitt the Forest 'keeper in the 6th Rd replay at the Dell which contributed immensely to our 3 goal comeback. Apparently George was a real gent off the field

Hammie I reckon most reasonable people would be sympathetic to 'Travellers' if they were not so aggressive and/or actually tidied up after themselves. One of the things I can't quite fathom if they are true 'Travellers' they cant have a permanent address. How do they then register,tax and insure their vehicles?

Possibly that the caravan club members generally pay for their site rent and respect the environment but i could be wrong

Doubt that that game could ever be beat for atmosphere Like another poster, the abiding memory for me wouuld be the smell of tobacco and the mistiness surrounding the Dell during evening games due to the comparatively low Lux rating of the floodlights another memorable game was the 5-4 win over Leeds in the League Cup when the lights went out and Derek Reeves scored his 5th at around 22.20 (from a 1930 kick off) Didnt get home until nearfly midnight and my Mum was worried sick (no mobile phones in those days) going back to the Forest 3-3 draw, there used to be a man in a white coat, walking round the running track, dispensing Hot Bovril from a tank on his back. He became so engrossed in the game that he failed to notice someone had turned the tap on at the back of his tank and he bercame immersed in a pool of hot, sticky, bovine liquiid!!

After a power cut our electric shower unit seems not to be working ie only cold water passes through the system. Anyone know if there are any simple things I can check on before assuming the unit is broken? I have checked circuit board is all OK Thanks for any help
