Did a little tour a couple of years ago using their trains. Milan - Rome- Florence - lake Como Rome is fantastic, was baking in June and can only imagine the heat in August. Didn't really appreciate Florenece enough, was knackered after 4 packed days in Rome. Will go back there. Lake Como is beautiful, can spend your days on the lake visiting lovely little towns.

Great memories, spent many a Saturday afternoon playing sensible soccer listening to Solent. Loved hearing the goal sound but every time it went off there was utter dread that it was against Saints. I always remember if ever the goal was at Dean Court they would go across to the ground and it was always absolute silence.
