Then you are an idiot and you have no right to post about comedy.

This is great! It means no-one ever needs to go to any of the home games again and we can spend our money on something else.
-
Oh, and RIP Michael Foot. I forgot that I wasn't going to post on this thread as I thought it distasteful that a thread called RIP had led to people being anything but respectful.

Or use your vote, as we can do given that we live in a democracy and have freedoms, to vote in some socialists. If you don't like that, go and live somewhere else more suited to your flippant and care free attitude to the importance of choice and voting power.

Yes, I remember that. We conceded two late goals (79, 86). I was so furious I went and done Dougal. Never forgave any of the players or coaches involved for that.

Platinum set half carat diamond ring- USED
Wiltshire Saint replied to saint_stevo's topic in Buy / Sell
I would pay £1000 to get my hands on Stevo's glistening ring. -
You're already in meltdown after we only managed to beat Walsall 5-1. You're virtually crying on the other thread because you reckon we only beat them because they're sh*t (even though they were above us in the table). You have no room to be talking about "fans going into meltdown".....you'll be leading the charge, trying to drag everyone into your pit of misery and pessimism.

I was going to post something similar, but as a mere registered user I cannot start threads and the other threrad about goals conceded seems to have been locked for some reason. I think that I will probably forgive AP for the goal we conceded, because, as RedAndWhite91 points out, we did win 5-1. However, I really do think some serious questions need to be asked about WHY we conceded so early. Is it something ahout the players mentally that has led to this goal after 3 or 4 minutes? It cannot be fitness surely? I cannot believe that a professional footballer would be tired after such a short anmount of time, but not having played the game professionally I don't know the answer. I guess it must have been down to poor concentration. Why aren't the boys concentrating then? Maybe, taking information from ano0ther thread, maybe they were all distracted because AP had told them he had quit/been sacked? Whatever, there is no excuse and I would very much like to hear AP or the defensive coach explain what happened. It is simply not on.

I'm not sure that's an appropriate response. Just because a lady has started a thread. Can't you exercise some self control?

Form this season used for prediction for next?
Wiltshire Saint replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
I'm not sure about all them statistics, I just hope we can end every game 0-0. There's no reason for any team to concede a goal at any time, ever -
Thank you jawillwill. It's nice to get some positive and polite feedback for a change (even one of the mods on this thread has been rude about me). I came across the idea of neither scoring or conceding when reading this thread, so some credit has to go to TiT. I'm certain that it is the way forward. I don't know whether AP reads this forum or not. I think that one of the backroom staff does, at least, and I'm sure AP has been made aware of the "conceding a goal" phenomena that TiT has rightly pointed out to us.

So, yet again, you refuse to deal with the points I made and instead opt for your usual (and also very predictable) response. All you have to do is admit that you're talking nonsense and the thread will die, but instead you persist and not only that but you have the audacity to suggest that I am predictable and others are rude when all you have done is repeat the same old rubbish and been rude to others. Youre a very arrogant man. I'd like to +1 that. I cannot see any insults in the post you are referring to. Maybe you can point them out? Or, as I predict, ignore this question as it is another one that you will be unable to answer. Hahaha! The highlighted bit of that post is unreal coming from a man who started a thread about never forgiving Pardew because we lost a game against a premiership team! You are negative. You're the one fretting about late goals. You're the one who will never forgive AP. Basically, you have no sensible points to make so have resorted to attacking others for supposed disrespectful remarks made about Ron Davies (irrelevant to this thread, and there is even doubt that Deano6 made any disrespectful comments) and dealing with all pertinent points by dismissing them and claiming people aren't having a sensible dialgoue with you. It's bloody hard to have a sensible dialogue with someone who has ended up posting like a 16 year old.

Sensatori (caldera Palace) Crete reviews
Wiltshire Saint replied to SO16_Saint's topic in The Lounge
I went there in August last year. It was awful. When we got there we found that no one spoke English and my son, who is has a lazy eye was treated with contempt everywhere we went. The jacuzzi didn't work properly and when we complained to the rep, he just said "It's not a jacuzzi, it's a bath". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I asked around and all the others there said that their jacuzzis were broken as well. On the second day we had to go to hospital as my son slipped around the pool and landed on his head. I carried him to the reception and tried to communicate with them that we needed an ambulance, but they couldn't understand and just laughed because of my sons eye. In the end I got a taxi to the hospital and it took so long to get us there that by the time we arrived my son was ok and we just went back to the hotel. Dinner was a joke. I ordered the vegetarian option and when it arrived it was just vegetables. No fish or anything. The place is a joke. I heard some pretty bad storied while I was there as well, stuff about women being attacked at night. I went out but couldn't see any women about at all. -
You may like to think you're popualr TiT, but to call yourself a "saints legend" is a little egocentric, even by your standards. Yet you have time to collate all the times of goals conceded by saints. All Nick did was go to a bookies website.....far easier than what you did. Sensible answers to two sensible questions; No, it just seems we allow a disproportionate amount of 'costly' goals during a certain period of games during this season. Therefore we should strategise for that event, as we should for any other regular flaw that costs us in our quest for success. No they both have the same value. Here is a question for you, if I had said (as I have posted correctly on two previous occassions) PRIOR to the pompee game that the thing we should guard against is giving up cheap goals in the last 15-20 minutes or so, as I feel it is the only way we will be beaten, would you have been so harsh on me? Oh and as for the prem, which I don't give a rat's arse about as Saints is my team, how many of those late goals affected the result...I ain't looked. So how do we "strategise" for the conceding of late goals? Why don't other teams "strategise" for such eventualities? You are still seemingly convinced that this is a Saints issue, when all the evidence suggest it is part and parcel of football. Players keep playing, keep attacking till the final whistle and score goals....it happens all the time. I do feel like this is a little like banging your head against a brick wall. If conceding a goal at anytime is bad, why are you focussed on goals conceded at the end of matches? Why not at the beginning? Nick has told you that most of our conceded goals are NOT in that last perios, but at other times. Why don't you make a fuss about that time period? As for your point about not giving goals away late on against Portsmouth....it makes no sense. It barely warrants a reply. What if I said "We should be wary about conceding goals because if we do we are more likely to lose. In fact, if we are to concede goals, my straegy would be to score more than we concede". Would that make me a footballing expert? The last point you make - you don't care about the prem leagie fixtures is complete arse. Those teams have the top defenders and coaches in this country yet still concede late goals, so how are Saints going to stop conceding if they can't?
-
How apt. My last post was simply highlighting the fact that every prem game today, bar one, had a late goal scored (sometimes more than one). The post before that was about Saturdays L1 games, where again, most of the games had late goals scored. Maybe it is you that needs to open your eyes a little more Tim? I genuinely have nothing against you, but it just strikes me as really, really odd that you think conceding late goals is a Saints problem, when I have just shown that it happens in virtually all games. That's all my posts gone for the night, but I would like you to answer a couple of questions, seriously: Do you think it is unusual for teams to concede late goals? Is conceding a late goal any worse than conceding an early goal?
-
After some further research, I have made a shocking discovery. It is not just L1 games where late goals are scored. I thought it might be linked to poor defenders, poor fitness, poor coaching, low confidence or something, but it seems even in the highest tier of English football teams are conceding late goals. Unbelieveable: Aston Villa conceded a goal in the 92nd minute (to Burnley!) Bolton conceded one goal in the 73rd minute and another in the 84th minute to Blackburn. How sh*t must they be? Birmingham conceded a goal in the 91st minute against Fulham and that meant they lost! Pavlyuchenko scored one goal in the 84th and then again in the 93rd for Tottenham! In fact the only game with no late goals in the premiership today was Man City vs Liverpool. I think all teams can learn a lot from these two and there really is no excuse for all games not ending 0-0 from now on.

Brighton conceded in the 5th minute of injury time. You have to ask what is going on there. Leeds let a goal in in the 77th minute. Who the hell is the defensive coach there? Also Exeter conceded, at home, in the 77th minute. They need some specialist coaching or something. You know that Bristol rovers....conceded in the 92 minute. You got to ask some serious questions about the management team there. I see Southend conceded a goal in the 80th minute. I mean come on! What sort of teams let in goals in the 80th minute! disorganised, poor defenders, lacking in confidence, unfit.....there is no excuse for it. In the same game, Southend scored against MK Dons in the 89th minute. There must be something about the MK Dons defenders and coaches that is causing this problem. What I really couldn't believe was when Tranmere conceded, at home, a goal in the 86th minute! Pathetic. I just wonder what the credentials of the Brenford defensive coach is seeing as they conceded in 84th minute. They really need to start having a word with the team, maybe take the defenders to one side and boost their confidence or something.

I was thinking of Tijuana Tim and it got him! I wasn't even playing the game, just thinking about him. -
I like what you're wearing tonight. You look good. I saw you out when you were shopping earlier and didn't like that half length leather/ faux leather coat that you had on. Don't wear that again Tim. I did like you sunglasses though. Have you ever thought about dying your hair?

I have this Belgian woman that I am seeing. She is always moaning and groaning when she gets a portion of Wiltshires finest.

I will never forgive MLT for that bad throw in sh*t that he tried to pull the other day or whenever. He is a bad man and when he played for us I always thought he was fat, lazy and had a big nose.

Despite having a holiday already this year, I have been working extra shifts so I can go on another one soon. How did you know that? This is a little spooky. I like you St Landrew, you're a decent chap, but can you not reply to me please, it is beginning to feel like I am being stalked.
