Would be a nice idea to have some sort of boardroom penalty for taking a club into administration. Five years out of footbal sounds fair enough. That way if/when we do go into admin Rupert will not be able to buy us back.

You cant go down to league 2 from the championship - you do actually have to spend a season in Division 1 lol - Unless we get found out for illegal doings and could face automatic relegation. I cant see thay happening ....... yet

Well i agree with the sentiments on the top of this thread. People like Alpine are actually the attention seekers, like posting 3 times instead of once. I know you get all sorts on message boards but looking at this forum you wouldnt believe we all supported the same team. Its astonishing really. I think you could actually find less hatered between Saints and Pompey fans at the moment. This forum and SOME people on it are just unbelievable at times.

I agree with the first point but the second is just too much. Jewell did the honourable thing by resigning after poor results. The difference between him and Jan is that Jewell has basically bought an entire squad of players at quite a cost. Jan has bought one player, rest are free and loans and by no means numbering the kind of figures Jewell had brought in. Give Jan a break. Id like to see ANYONE do a better job with what he has at his disposal.

put yourselves in the shoes of any "decent" manager. OK you are out of work. But do you join a club that changes its manager every 9 months. Do you join a club that possibly pays the worst wages in the league. Do you join a club in the relegation zone. Do you join a club with zero funds to spend in January and possibly none in close season. Do you join a club with very few good senior pro's. Do you! The people that would join this club would be people that are desperate and have been out of work for a while or non league managers or possibly a youth team coach from another club. Some of you people are in cloud cookoo land. We have no money to spend!!!! Get real and back Jan FGS. I think the LAST thing we need is yet another boss.

I think he did. In early pre season he was probably expecting to either be loaned out or play a handfull of games or sub appearances. Little did he realise that he was going to be number 1 choice upfront and possibly 8 goals is far more than he would ever expected. He may even have been happy with 8 appearances if you had asked him pre season.

We already are. Its just that the other clubs will eventually join us in our current predicament over time. Watford and Charlton are already on their way. 4) Will we ever make it back to the Premier League and if so when? Not in the near future. Infact possibly never - I have a feeling the prem may close its doors at some point with no promotion/relegation 5) Will we regain bragging rights over lucky skates anytime soon? No. One ray of light may be Pompeys finances. I think the only way we will get our position back is if Pompey go to the wall. So it will not be a case of us improving rather than Pompey taking a dive. 6) What position will we come in 08/09? 15-17th 7) What will be the score against Burnley? 1-1

Did anyone hear him have a little dig at Saints in the same programme. When the Saints fan rang up and said that he was having a laugh charging £40 for a Palace v QPR ticket. The saints fan said something along the lines that a ticket at saints for him and his lad was close to £50 and that was too much. Then Jordan went on to say that he wasnt surprised that saints had lower ticket prices seeing how poorly run the club had been over the past 3 years.

This isnt anonymouse. You have an IP address. That can be tracked to an ISP. ISP can pass on details of account etc etc. Very few things are truely anonymous these days. Which is a good thing. People shouldnt be allowed to say stuff if they are not prepared to both back it up and be held accountable for their words.

What I liked about Shilton was the disgust he showed when he let a goal in. His face was just a picture - like he had been physically hurt by it going in. The look in his eyes was somewhere between someone being shot and thier grandmother being murdered. He was outstanding and to have Flowers on the bench behind him for a season (was it longer) was just great.
