I predict he will not be here when his contract ends. I dont mean that in a bad way. If we end up in mid table i think most people will accept that was a reasonable job with -10pts and he stays on as manager for next year. In year 2 he has to get us promotion, if he gets us promotion i believe he will get poached - ask any MK Dons fan how this works. If we get promoted or even nearly promoted this year that will be an excellent result with -10 pts and again he will get poached. So win lose or draw he will not be here in 3 years.

I dont dispute much of what you say and i am glad you stayed sat down. Do we know for a fact that we are debt free now? OK ML may be worth £2.5bn BUT has he wiped the debts and bought the stadium OR has he leveraged the purchase against the assets - much like Man U etc. So we are still in debt but have money behind us.

I thought it was a great interview and a nice car! I wish him all the best. I liked his quip about the next manager probably not being dutch

Jo Tessem on Trial next week (He's not really)(Actually he might be)

Its a trial. Hes not been signed. I say give him a go and see what happens. Nothing ventured nothing gained. -
:smt038 I think LM is a great man. But thats just my opinion. Is anyone here able to bullet point actual facts of what LM has done to this club to harm it? I mean real facts not comments like oh he helped askham back in 1932.. roughly... ish. I'd also love to see MLT on board in ANY capacity. I'd also like to see David Armstrong let back into the stadium... All these great guys that actually really care about Saints - Just like you do. If they sometimes appear divisive isnt that because they care and sometimes emotions run high - Just like they do on here. 19C appears divisive as does GM but they are insignificant posters on an internet message board. LM feels just as strongly as they do but all of his opinions reach a wider audience. Is the same for anyone that is high profile I am just amazed that people will diss a guy that has done so much for this club over a long time frame. I would give anything for Saints to return to the glory days of the teams that LM put out. Finishing 2nd in Division1 with only Liverpool ahead of us..... who the hell on here would ever NOT want that back????? I think personally that was a greater achievment than winning the FA Cup.

I cant take any pleasure in other clubs misfortunes at the moment. I gloated in the past over a friend who supported Leeds. I wont be doing that again. I dont care what happens at Portsmouth. I only care about what goes on with Southampton. Nothing else matters what so ever.

lmao thats nasty

This is my understanding of the situation. SLH is in administration legally speaking. The F.L didnt buy it and gave SFC the -10 pt deduction A buyer found and wanted to appeal the -10 pts. This was declined. The buyer then says ok well we are ready to complete the purchase. The F.L then ask SFC for a CVA. This proves that the club has paid its creditors and all are happy. However, SFC cannot provide a CVA because SFC is not in administration. Only SLH can provide a CVA but the F.L say no the CVA has to come from SFC. Technically this is not possible. So SFC face another 17 pt deduction for not providing a CVA before the season starts. This indeed would put any bidder off i feel because on -27 you would be looking at probable relegation so they wouldnt in effect be buying a League 1 side they would be buying a League 2 side. The way around this is for SFC to be put into administration so they can then provide the CVA to the league. But then the league already say SFC are in administration.... kind of a catch 22. I am not sure how you get out of this...... Anyway thats just my theory

I am seriously loosing the plot here. So can i conclude from this that GM and speculator, are actually one and the same person? Or is it that so many people on here are now being sarcastic that we are in a situation of double sarcasm meaning a comment is actually genuine. Christ! lol While on that subject are Mole and Stanley the same person???? Any other twins on here that we know of?

Why do potential owners feel the need......
graymalkin33 replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
That may well be true but unfortunately the 3450 voices get drowned out by a very gobby set of around 50 i would estimate. That 50 will chastise, cut down, insult and villify anyone who doesnt agree with them. Bit of a shame really -

You really must be pompey scum in my opinion. You also have no grasp on whats going on. The situation as i understand it. Pinnacle - have gone a long way down the road to buying the club. Now no longer have exclusivity but are contunueing to look to buy the club. Forgive me if i am wrong but that is surely a good thing Swiss Consortium - Looking to get into an exclusivity agreement next week, which blocks any bid from Pinnacle for 3 weeks. We have to wait 3 weeks for due diligence etc to be done and they OR Pinnacle will buy the club or both walk away. 3rd Party. Whoever that may be really isnt in with a shout because after another 3 weeks of exclusivity IE Not being able to talk to the administrator or look at clubs books it will be too late to buy the club anyway and SFC will probably have gone under. So asking Pinnacle to walk away is a bit like being at sea and your ship is sinking, you have 6 hours before the ship sinks, a dodgy looking steamer pulls up and says they may have room for you. You say no thanks theres a posh looking speed boat 6 hours sailing away I will wait for that. I dont see why you cant live with Pinnacle being involved and hope they pull something out of the hat, while also hoping the swiss swoop in and do a deal double quick. Why just be so awfull to a group of people POSSIBLY looking to save SFC. I see nothing to gain except bringing attention to yourself and dragging SFC through the mud again. Please be quiet for all our sakes. -
I am right behind Pinnacle or any backer but i still found it funny. Jeeez come on guys some of you need to get a life. I imagine Tony would too as he found the tyre kicker also funny.
-
Thanks - i can now logoff til Monday lol Good Luck to you Tony

They would look awfull but it would be soon forgotten. and yes they would let it happen.

I hope he is not going to be manager. I want a manager that is going to stick with it for atleast 12 months. Now wouldnt that be nice for a change. KK has terribe record of just walking out when he feels like it.

Yes you can lol In League 1. Time for a fresh start. I like most of the above shirts. I have a feeling this years shirt will be the same as the old one maybe with the exception of the odd bit of black trim.
