I started to well up a bit yesterday actually. My daughter has started to crawl and she looked so chuffed with herself, very proud of her. She spent her first 5 weeks in intensive care after having surgery when she was 12 hours old and it was touch and go for a little bit. Thinking back to those moments and where she is now made me cry.

I'll probably be exactly where I am now except living in Portsmouth (I know I know but its where my fiance's family live and she wants to be close with new baby etc). Same job as I've only been in it 10 months or so and still planning a wedding.

Became a dad for the first time in August. She's absolutely incredible!! Had to have emergency surgery at about 20 hours old and spent the first month in intensive care so makes every moment I spend with her even more special. Seeing her face light up when I get in from work is the best feeling in the world! Only trouble is I find myself worrying every minute of the day but maybe that's just because of the start she had in life!

As an extra to that, why do people with a huge trolley full of shopping insist on using the self service check outs and then not have a f*cking clue how to use them!! Go to a manned till and save yourself the f*cking bother and waste 5 minutes of my life that I will never get back!!

I have a grumble, F*ucking card factory on a Saturday, surely there isn't a worse place on earth??

Am leaving sky as I've just realised it has reached nearly £60 a month for basic tv ( no movies or sports) broadband (which is approx 1.5 Mb) and phone. However unfortunately we are not in a cabled area otherwise would go for Virgin Media. Anybody have any opinions on any other provider or any decent deals you kind folks may have??

I've recently become a father myself three weeks ago!! One of the main things I personally have picked up on is that the baby will let you know if she/he doesn't like something!! Sounds obvious but i'm forever checking my daughters temp, the room temp etc even though sleeping soundly!! We've only just come home ourselves as our little one needed emergency surgery at a day old and was 5 weeks early so she already has me wrapped around her little finger!! No matter how tired you feel you only need to look at them and you can't feel any frustration at all!!

I am thinking how much of a pain in the arse my pregnant girlfriend. But also congratulating myself for going to the shop and buying copious amounts of ale for me to seek solace in!!

Think we will win this comfortably, can't possibly think about any other outcome!!
