  1. No it was under the East. A couple of weeks after their infamous Panorama appearance, Harry the Dog and his Millwall goons were seen scurrying out of there, to the safety of the Archers.
  2. That I struggle to remember. Bunked off school at 10.45am and got down to the County Ground for a Hampshire 1 day game. Straight in the bar and didn't leave until after 4pm when someone said the queue at The Dell had started. They opened the gates just after we got there and we had the bar in the corner under the West Stand to keep us amused. The game? Feck knows.
  3. Are you sure? 10th May 1976 was a Monday. Don't remember it.

  11. Who was the last German born to have played for Saints?
  12. They showed the Everton one a couple of weeks ago. Wrighty's choice of game. It was only due to a bent goalie.
  13. I was at work, in an office, when my Mum rang and told me she was putting the phone to the radio and to listen. I sat there for 10 or 15 minutes that the press conference was on Solent, with my colleagues assuming I was on a business call. She did the same when Bob Willis started bowling the Aussies out at Headingly, the following year. That evening, I was at a committee meeting for our cricket club that Graham Baker played for. I was spoofed into believing that Keegan had already agreed to play for us that summer. He did star as our Guest Speaker at next years Dinner and Dance.
