I asked about the student part for two reasons: 1) I am a student and was wondering 2) I have noticed an increase in this not liking students thing and would be interested to know why. I have not noticed an increase in disliking police officers. I don't think this is anything like the situation you described at all. What does racism have to do with me being interested in the increase i have noticed in people disliking students.

I'm pretty sure there's a gap in their head somewhere that you quickly push a sharp object through. So same idea only it goes straight to the brain rather than going up the arse to get there. I'm sure if you google it something useful will come up.

I really don't understand what the problem is. There is plenty of evidence to show that in areas where this has been happening for ages the level of dental caries are lower in children. Although i'm willing to hear of any issues that i've not heard of that could be causing these people to be against the idea. I just can't see the problem - they don't complain about the same things happening to cereal, bread and margarine. :confused:

Actually, i'm an extremely caring person thank you. I work with people with disabilities, have done for years and always do everything I can to be caring and do the best job I can. It's an amusing error which this bloke has obviously either totally overreacted to or decided it was a good way to get in the papers - or a bit of both. I get letters addressed to me all the time that have spelt my name wrong (which would also be an admin/human error) and I don't contact the local newspaper. So, to answer your question, I suppose I wouldn't be overly impressed at receiving such a letter on the basis that it was obviously not an accidental error and also an untrue accusation. However, I wouldn't really care because it must have been written by a person who's opinion i couldn't care less about :cool:

I know the feeling :-( But then I don't play golf anyway and don't care about alcohol. It's the deciding between feeling really sick or being in lots of pain that's annoying me. I'm going for balance of taking half the dose and feeling in a fair bit of pain but only slightly sick atm. Nope - Finally got sent for physio so good news here! Hopefully this'll be the last lot of diazepam and painkillers. There's still plenty of the day left for something to go wrong though. Although my prescription did cost £28.40 so maybe that counts?

Has anyone else noticed the valentines day cards designed to family members? Such as happy valentines day mother/son/daughter. Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit weird? I've never noticed it in previous years but when I got round to purchasing one today I noticed them and felt a bit creeped out. Maybe i've missed a point? I just think that cards to your biological family alongside presents which include handcuffs and body pens/paint to lick off each other shouldn't be for the same occasion?

I've just changed to the simplicity contract with O2. The 1000 text and 800 minutes (including the 200 bolt on) for just under £20pm. I have just come off my 18 month contract with them and this was the only way I was going to stay with them because although they're good for somethings, providing a working handset is certainly not one of them. Anyway, on this contract you can get some extras too, you call 2211 (i think, you might want to check the number) and the automated person gives you a list of what you can choose from. Extra minutes or texts in various forms I assume. I haven't chosen one yet.
