I would imagine the relegation clause would allow us to re-coup our money laid out,but the players wage would probably half as no doubt they have a clause to take a 50% cut if relegated ,if nobody took the bait and came in for them that would leave us with a ridiculous team for the championship,and with receiving parachute payments that may subsidise the wages?

After the shaky start he looked composed,granted he didn't have much to do but the defenders had no fears in passing it back to him,his distribution was poor on his long kicks but he held onto it and looked to play it out from defence,I would be happy to see him have a run out in the team

Guly was very good defensively today,Boruc was composed after the shaky start.great performance all round

Play like that for the rest of the season and we will be fine,fantastic display all round.

Not a NA signing? maybe NA was dead against it from the start? who knows but I know this there has been times when we have looked desperate for something different this season and all NA has done is swap a like for like player! We were cruising past Villa when he came on and looked decent and won us a pen,he came on 2nd half of spurs and had a right go at there full back,I never saw the Leeds match he did start right? but the team was awful anyway.
